So with the weather getting even warmer, some of us with fur have probably dealt with shedding- Well, more shedding than before- for the past month, if you've been here a while. Maybe it started with new fur, for you people that showed up pretty recently. Anyway, there's some stores that sell combs and brushes specifically for shaving fur.

It might feel nice, but don't use those things every day. Not unless you want to start shredding your skin in some weirdly slow way.

[ Which may be why this is voice. Well, it can't be said that this is something that's never brought up now. ]

It'd be better to not need the cream at all, right? Besides, who said I was bleeding? These are just tips! I'm being helpful by sharing things no one told me.

If skin is shedding then it's probably going to bleed soon. [Because the skin was weaker.]

It doesn't happen if you leave a few days between using those brushes and combs. They're basically needles or something to rip out the loose hair. With time apart for each use, the skin probably recovers enough for there to be no problems.

What if you just let it grow?

Then you deal with a lot of loose hair coming off at various times, and getting stuck everywhere? It's to speed the fur shedding. What grows will keep growing, but that particular part of the coat's coming out no matter what.

It's more that the shedding hair's really light in color, and I usually wear dark clothes. The more I get, the less that shows up on them.

[ And what kind of question is that?! ]

Loose hair. It pulls up loose hair, not stuff still rooted. Besides, it's not like I'm doing this on my scalp.

[ That hair isn't going anywhere. ]

Just wear lighter clothes then. Isn't that what you're supposed to do in good weather. [And dark clothes when it was colder.]

You wear what suits you, and light colors don't do that for me. With magic making you as comfortable as you want, most of the time you can go with whatever you want.

Doesn't the same go for your hair? Can you just use a charm for it?

For the long hair? I do. The tie I use for it both braids and keeps it light. I don't know if stuff for the shedding fur will interfere or act weird with that, though.

I was fine doing it without magic, though. People with harder shedding issues would do better asking about that.

It doesn't sound like you're fine... [Judar...But she huffs.]

[ He doubts it, but really. It'd be hard to notice what he'd done to himself, as he didn't take it too far. Just enough to realize what was going on. ]

Plus, it'd be hard to not realize what was happening until it got bad. It'd hurt more before it was serious.

You said peeling skin. That's not very reassuring... You'll be leaving it until it heals won't you?

Sure. It'll only take a couple days normally, but Iskandar practices healing magic and everything.

[ Apparently he's been practicing making salves too, but that's the surprise benefit of being with a witch, apparently. ]

I stopped pretty quickly after problems started to show themselves, so it's not so bad as to peel. Sorta scab in some places, though?

...You should have said that from the start. [Slightly soft concern gone. Only deadpan now.]

I thought it was actually peeling off and leaving sores.

[ Ah, it seems she can be relieved enough to not worry anymore. ]

If I continued, maybe. I made the video to make sure no one thought they should be doing this for a week straight.

It started scabbing in less than a week? I'm glad I'm not growing fur...

It's not like it's heavy scabbing, or anything dark from blood. It's just that weird kind that goes over irritated skin.

[ Like nasty rashes and some sunburns, maybe bug bites as well if you scratch any of those. ]
