So with the weather getting even warmer, some of us with fur have probably dealt with shedding- Well, more shedding than before- for the past month, if you've been here a while. Maybe it started with new fur, for you people that showed up pretty recently. Anyway, there's some stores that sell combs and brushes specifically for shaving fur.
... Final tip. [ This was a tip-post? ]
It might feel nice, but don't use those things every day. Not unless you want to start shredding your skin in some weirdly slow way.
[ Which may be why this is voice. Well, it can't be said that this is something that's never brought up now. ]

[ Deers don't even need it that much. So him doing it that often is double overkill. ]
They're not even that sharp. It's more like being repeatedly scratched than anything else.

[ Yeah, so, that sounds a little extreme. ]
How did you even manage to do that to yourself with a blunt object?

[ Look, he was saying it in a dramatic way to make sure people avoid doing this stuff daily. It's nowhere near as bad as he made it sound. ]
They're not sharp, but they're not that blunt, either. It's still pins of metal grouped along in some pattern. Say it takes about four passes to get all of the undercoat out- It irritates and just removes a little bit from the skin, but barely more than what recovers in a day. So if you do it about three or four days in a row, you start getting irritation from it all.

[ Then again, Felix is starting to notice the shedding thing happening to himself, too, so maybe there's some merit to the brushing. Maybe. He's skeptical. ]
It's all going to fall out eventually anyway. Why not just let it shed naturally?

[ Well, in the end it kind of comes down to appearances, doesn't it? Well, there's practical reasons for some types of people, but it's not common for deer. ]
I guess you could just let it come out naturally? If it all does, and if you're married to having the hair poking through or sticking all over your clothes. I think some people would have to brush it to avoid the stuff clumping up with the healthy coat. Kind of like how some people that can't brush their hair end up being those with huge mats in it.

That's disgusting. I see your point.
[ He has a little of his own vanity to maintain, okay. ]
What are you supposed to do if you have a lot of fur...?

... Get some help? I don't know what counts as a lot.

Turnskin.
[ Getting a little on the fuzzy side, over here. ]
I suppose, if I have to humiliate myself like that, I'll just ask my Bonded for help.

[ Nothing that Judar knows much about, as he can only refer to 'some specialist' instead of a name or proper profession. ]
Better Bonded than anything else. You could make a night of it, even.
