[The silver-haired youth does not look very much like a monster yet (as it just so happens to be that the silver hair and eyes are natural somehow) but the fangs when he speaks and the lack of...top explains a little more why he's asking for advice.]
Hello. I'm Yu Narukami and I'm turning into either a turnskin or a chimera...pretty sure it's a chimera most likely from the dream I had before arriving here but I haven't manifested more than animal for now. The problem is I keep...growing...really fast. Have other chimeras had this problem?
If you have any tips on which places to go buy clothing, it would be helpful for myself and my partner. We've been spending most of our money on things for me to wear but I grow out of them after a few days. Sometimes less.
[There's a small, polite bow.]
Thank you for your help.

I know of a native tailor that specializes in clothing for Monsters... though if you're looking for a more economical solution, you may have better luck seeking out a secondhand shop.

Honestly both options could be useful once we get our hands on more money. I was at the point where I felt curtains might be best until I stop growing but I don't know when that happens.
[Which does have him a little worried.]
I started out wearing this...
[He holds up the black jacket from his Yasogami High school uniform.]

[ It certainly looks like a gakuran, and the 'II' on the collar is pretty telling. ]
I can see why you'd be quick to outgrow that, though if you are a Chimera I can't say with confidence how much longer it'll last. I've seen some almost as large as Dragons.
[ A curtain, though? Akechi definitely looks amused by that idea. ]
A curtain sounds like it might be best as a last resort. I can give you the name of the tailor and some secondhand shops in the meantime.

I wasn't even attending the school anymore honestly...just coming to visit my friends during Golden Week. [Not that he has any ideas if this person knows what that is, so he adds;] It's a holiday in Japan.
[The news is...a little more dire than he'd like to admit, but Yu keeps his cool. That's how he rolls.]
I see...maybe I'll need to seriously think about sleeping outside in that case.
[You have to do with what you're given. Although even Yu finds the idea amusing.]
Yeah that was the plan for the most part. And thank you...do you mind if I ask your name?
no subject
I'm from Japan, myself, so I'm familiar with Golden Week. I think it would about that time now, if it was celebrated here.
[ But it doesn't seem likely, so Akechi won't worry about it. He share the shop names and some simple directions with Yu - all three of them are located in various shopping district locales - before moving on. ]
I'm Goro Akechi - and really, it wasn't any trouble. I'm quite fond of those shops so I'm happy to send more business their way.
no subject
That makes sense...I guess we could do a small celebration if we really wanted.
[Yu enjoys excuses to cook and meet other people, it's true. He briefly stops to take out what looks like paper and an ink pen to write it down before looking back at him.]
Thank you, Goro-san. [Looks like he's the type to address people by their first names.] I appreciate your help a lot. Have you been here for long?
no subject
He'll worry about it later. ]
It would certainly be easier to celebrate without the crowds, though if it picks up popularity that might change. I've only been here since early February, but the residents certainly seem to love an excuse to celebrate.

Have you considered just going naked?
no subject
[Because if witches are shrinking he needs to let Yosuke know asap.]
I have but I don't think my partner wouldn't find that amusing.
no subject
[wei wuxian lifts his bangs up to show the fading bruise on his forehead.]
Ahh, your partner must be a girl. That's understandable then. Hey! Maybe we could cut the extra off of my clothes and sew it onto yours.
no subject
[He does smile a little looking to see if Yosuke heard that before chuckling.]
No, Yosuke is a male too. In Japan we're okay with bathing with friends but we don't really walk around naked all the time around them. I think he'd throw something on it himself if he had a choice.
[Unfortunately. But that's a whole other can of worms that Yu will not be talking about.]
That's very kind of you. I don't know much about sewing myself but a friend showed me some basic things...I could repay you in food as well, if that's alright.
no subject
My friend used to be like that too. He was shy even during bathing together. I don't think he'd mind as much now though.
Then it's a deal! I don't know how much it'll help, but it's a start! Oh, I'm Wei Wuxian.
no subject
I see. Yosuke didn't have that trouble since it's very normal in public baths in Japan.
Thank you for your help, Wei-san. Where would you like to meet?
(no subject)
I have an open log, do you want me to move the next part there?
sure!

I suppose I can direct you to a Mirrorbound tailor, if that's what you'd prefer.

That would be nice...I'm looking for all the help I can get.

Do you know Tataru Taru? She works at... [ Goddess, the name feels awkward just to write out, but do it for the business referral. ] Precogstitchin'. She can easily handle clothing your continued growth and any... irregular features that might come with it.
I've used her services myself, and trust her with most anything at this point.
no subject
I do not. Maybe I should try to contact her. I have a friend back home that is an expert seamstress, but sadly he's not here.
[Yu already misses his other friends.]
I hope you don't mind if I ask you what you turned into to need her services? If that's alright to talk about. I'm still new.
no subject
[ Plus or minus a few feral hiccups on his end. ]
She's still working on something that will change shape with the wearer, but if you're truly turning into a chimera and not a turnskin, you won't have to worry about that.
no subject
[For all he knew it was going to end up being exactly like it. Fate had other plans, of course.]
I'm glad, regardless. Having others to help out makes it much easier. And that sounds amazing. I thought everyone changed a little during full moons too, or did I misread that?
[He's still trying to understand a lot of the books he borrowed.]

you gotta get kinda creative during the changes. i had like a month where my legs were kinda fucked up but i think thats why a lot of fauns just dont wear pants.
[...Well. They wear kilts and robes and skirts. And there ARE digitigrade pants. But what is offering any sort of context on the network.]
i dunno how much help youll get on chimeras. them all being different is kinda the point of them right?
no subject
I'm okay with not wearing pants but I don't think Yosuke would be too pleased for me to do that. So that's why a toga or a loincloth might work better.
[Yu's just going to roll with it.]
I guess so. Have you met other Chimeras, or are you one yourself?
no subject
i could ask fie where she got my pants.
nah i just got weird goat legs. I've seen a couple chimera around but i ain't close to any. but the growing and growing weird parts cant just be a chimera issue.
no subject
[Hence why Yosuke is doing some of the shopping.]
Probably not. It's good you have someone helping you too. I'm not sure what I'd be doing without my friend around.
no subject
[he.... assumes......]
you'd figure it out. best not to think you cant with how people up and disappear here.
no subject
[...probably?....]
That's true. You sound like you've been here for a while...
