Hello. I'm Yu Narukami and I'm turning into either a turnskin or a chimera...pretty sure it's a chimera most likely from the dream I had before arriving here but I haven't manifested more than animal for now. The problem is I keep...growing...really fast. Have other chimeras had this problem?

If you have any tips on which places to go buy clothing, it would be helpful for myself and my partner. We've been spending most of our money on things for me to wear but I grow out of them after a few days. Sometimes less.

[ It certainly looks like a gakuran, and the 'II' on the collar is pretty telling. ]

I can see why you'd be quick to outgrow that, though if you are a Chimera I can't say with confidence how much longer it'll last. I've seen some almost as large as Dragons.

[ A curtain, though? Akechi definitely looks amused by that idea. ]

A curtain sounds like it might be best as a last resort. I can give you the name of the tailor and some secondhand shops in the meantime.

I wasn't even attending the school anymore honestly...just coming to visit my friends during Golden Week. [Not that he has any ideas if this person knows what that is, so he adds;] It's a holiday in Japan.

[The news is...a little more dire than he'd like to admit, but Yu keeps his cool. That's how he rolls.]

I see...maybe I'll need to seriously think about sleeping outside in that case.

[You have to do with what you're given. Although even Yu finds the idea amusing.]

I'm from Japan, myself, so I'm familiar with Golden Week. I think it would about that time now, if it was celebrated here.

[ But it doesn't seem likely, so Akechi won't worry about it. He share the shop names and some simple directions with Yu - all three of them are located in various shopping district locales - before moving on. ]

I'm Goro Akechi - and really, it wasn't any trouble. I'm quite fond of those shops so I'm happy to send more business their way.

That makes sense...I guess we could do a small celebration if we really wanted.

[Yu enjoys excuses to cook and meet other people, it's true. He briefly stops to take out what looks like paper and an ink pen to write it down before looking back at him.]

It would certainly be easier to celebrate without the crowds, though if it picks up popularity that might change. I've only been here since early February, but the residents certainly seem to love an excuse to celebrate.

I think it might be because of how everything is. Festivals make everything a little happier doesn't it? It is odd not to have a class lined up however. Yosuke is doing more learning than I am since he's a witch...

I just hope that my hands don't make it too hard to continue cooking. If we're going to do a celebration I'd need to make food for it!
