The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

[ He has a feeling it's because Takizawa has no choice, but he'll ask anyway. ]

[Other ghouls would be more hesitant to talk about this, or not have let on anything about their eating habits in the first place, but Takizawa is only half ghoul (not that the human half matters at this point) and has never been allowed to hide that part of himself.]

Because if I don't choose to do it myself my body will choose for me.

Gotta admit, I was judging you just now when it sounded like you've eaten people. I only didn't say anything because it's not like I've never killed anyone before.

I guess it's not exactly your fault. Although ... How do you choose, then, which human you eat and which you spare?

How does any lone predator choose its prey?

For animals ... Probably the easiest target.

It obviously depends on the location, how well blended into society we are, and our own conscience.

And if necessary, we can eat our own.
