The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

It does seem like this sends a message. Well, how do you do? It seems as though I have come to exist in this plane and existence for a time. I am outside my normal protocol and environment so I'm afraid I can offer no help to anyone.

It's kind of A Thing where I came from. Plus, fun fact, it makes kind of a neat tattoo.

[ Not that she would ever admit that she's noticed to his face because that would imply something more than the reality: it's hard not to notice a giant symbol tattooed on someone's back when there's practically nothing else to look at besides a bed, a couch that has seen better days, and a half-naked mercenary. The tattoo seemed like the least awkward focal point when his back was turned, at the time. God, she does not miss all of those visions. It's been a while. ]

[ She's...dated a Stiles. She's been tethered to a Stiles beyond the mortal coil, so to speak. She's also not actually spoken to Stiles in several months because school has been especially challenging this semester, but that's neither here nor there. ]

[Ignis' eyebrows shoot up at that. He's speechless for a moment, for reasons he's not getting into, because they're personal, but... He glances away momentarily, then looks back.]

[That's still a good feeling, hearing enthusiasm for his constantly evolving cuisine. Somehow it sets him at ease, like he'll really settle right back in.]

[ There's a moment where his heart rate picks up a tick, but he's quick to stomp out the kindling of hope. ]
