The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

Well, I can read that, so yeah. I guess this is real so...fine is kind of...relative. Interesting username.

It's kind of A Thing where I came from. Plus, fun fact, it makes kind of a neat tattoo.

[ Not that she would ever admit that she's noticed to his face because that would imply something more than the reality: it's hard not to notice a giant symbol tattooed on someone's back when there's practically nothing else to look at besides a bed, a couch that has seen better days, and a half-naked mercenary. The tattoo seemed like the least awkward focal point when his back was turned, at the time. God, she does not miss all of those visions. It's been a while. ]

[ Okay, well, awkward at best but not bad, at least. She'll take it. A familiar face is a familiar face. ]

Is your name Derek and, if so, does "Beacon Hills" mean anything to you...?

I don't suppose you'd be willing to offer up something to prove it before I identify myself? One can't be to cautious, you know.

[ he just. flips on video and gives whoever is on the other end a horribly unimpressed look. ]

[ Having the video feed unexpectedly turn on, Lydia holds up her free hand defensively. ]

Okay, yeah, that'll do it.

[ She gives him a weak but sheepish sort of smile. ]
