The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches

Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course!

Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

oh really? that's not how i expected to it to work at all. i guess i'm used to magic that makes you tired the more you use it.

[ Not that she's really getting into the Persona thing yet...even if it probably doesn't matter here. It's not like supernatural things like that would be out of the ordinary in a world like this. ]

it almost sounds too good to be true. like there should be a big But somewhere in all of this.

yeah, you'd think! i dunno, witches are full of so much magic it must feel pretty good to get rid of it too, right? us monsters are just really good at using it up for them. it's a good system.

i guess the only downside would be that we can only carry three bonds... any more than that can be really bad, apparently. i wish it wasn't like that.

oh, really? so i need to choose my bonds carefully...thanks for the heads up!

what happens if you have more than three? wouldn't having more connections be a good thing?

that's what i thought too! i thought that if you have more bonds it should be better, right? at least that's how it was back home for me!

but uh, i guess it's supposed to be really tiring if you have more than three... kinda like spreading yourself too thin?
