The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

the only talking rabbits here are puca so yeah people are gonna think youre one. dont worry so much about it, pretty much everything here is weird.

I’m going to be completely honest but I really can’t tell the difference between a human and a Monster, because I’ve never seen humans before in my life just like some of the other creatures I’ve seen.

So...are all humans witches then? Or vampires, I guess, if they’re dead-not-dead?

they're just another kinda animal. though most come from worlds were other animals walk on all fours and cant talk or do math so be prepared for that.

and nah only the ones with magic are. i started out human and turned into a faun here, so now i'm like half goat.

Of course we have apes. I guess...I can see the resemblance. Kind of how a dog is related to a wolf...if you squint.

See now that sounds ridiculous. Animals walking around on all fours? I know that's like, an evolutionary theory but I never exactly paid attention in history and we never go THAT far back.

i dunno about species changes but i guess so. i still feel pretty human but i got a lot of fur and hooves now.

Like that. [Shinji's voice is from off-camera.] That's Koromaru, and he's a dog from my world. Real smart for one, but can't talk or use doorknobs or anything.

yeah i only found out recently and weve been bonded like eight months. told him hed be a shitty husband but i dont think he cares.

who knows what is type is really. i think hes just jealous of my horns since they dont shed.

anyway anyone from the coven check you for magic yet?

I've been checked for magic all right. They wouldn't leave me alone until they could figure out just what I was.

yeah sounds about right. they can get kind of over-curious, which is a pain in the ass.

cool, just like louis. that just means you'll be able to learn magic and won't be growing new parts or anything. so hope you like studying i guess.
