The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

I admit I'm rather on the small side, but your physique— or rather, your height... It reminds me of someone else I know. I can see her struggling with the machine, herself. There's also a vocal function, if you have preference for someone not seeing you, though your voice is a great deal recognizable as well.

I cannot say that I would know. Some people have that preference. I am quite used to people seeing me, personally. [ Royalty tends to get stares! ] Perhaps they are shy? That does not seem like something you would be, with how quickly you asked that question, Mr. Nier.

Forgive me for harping upon it, but now that I have seen your face, I do feel that there is a great deal you share with Nier. The one that I know. It reminds me of the other person with whom I share my name. Perhaps it is a coincidence, but as he is my bonded, I cannot help but want to meddle, I suppose...

The act of bonding is one in which two parties agree to bond their lives and wellness together for a mutual benefit. It is a partnership based foremost in magic, allowing a witch and a monster to master their abilities more clearly.
