The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

It does take getting used to, and you'll always be getting used to it. I feel like the monster thing is one of the less strange things about this place.

Falling through a mirror was another thing entirely.

Those mirrors can do a lot. Do you know if you can do magic? If you're not a Witch, you'll be changing like the others here.

Well...I've accidentally shocked myself already, but it's hard to tell if it was just static or actual magic.

It sounds like it's magic. Looks like we'll be classmates again.

It's been awhile since we were classmates, huh? Do I at least get to pick my classes like in college, or is it more like highschool all over again?

You can pick the ones you like and want to learn. You have a lot of freedom.

Aah that's good. I'd hate to have graduated from Cherryton, only to have to repeat what felt like highschool all over again.

Wonder what rumours will start up about me in witch school.

Surprisingly few. As long as I've been here, it's been a non-issue. You will get questions about being a Monster forever, though.
