If you're within a city then you're within the borders. The only real danger would be if you're within a smaller exposed settlement or in the wilderness.

I'm going to assume that, since you skipped right over the first part, you don't know how to answer the question? Well, I'm definitely not in the wilderness, so there's that, at least.

I thought graduating from high school was something positive. Is it not?
As for the resurrections I don't know from where the bodies are curated but this world's magic being able to secure souls doesn't surprise me, not if it's able to open portals between dimension with ease.

[ If she seems snappish, it's just frustration with the entire situation. Well, that and some mild sleep deprivation related to studying for finals. ]
It is, but it's also kind of a given more often than it isn't. Doesn't matter, never mind.
You're suggesting that only the souls are coming through and the bodies are being, what, artificially manufactured to some capacity?

[ The sarcasm washes over him like a gentle breeze, unnoticed by an idiot with incredibly limited social skills. He's doing his best. ]
I haven't graduated from high school. It's an accomplishment you shouldn't take for granted. [ doing his best ]
I'm suggesting that the bodies of the dead are being manufactured, at least, or that their souls are possessing others who are newly deceased and manipulated to share their appearance.
no subject
...how? I mean, what are your thought about how bodies would be manipulated to look like other people...? As a science girl, specifically biomedical engineering, I'm incredibly curious.
no subject
Unless you have yet to encounter that. Are you locked indoors somewhere? Are you not a Witch? Irrelevant, maybe.
In my world it would be achieved using jutsu.
no subject
I'm not a witch, what? I'm not inside, but I'm on my way, I guess.
[ Not true, she just doesn't know that, yet. ]
Jutsu? Tell me more. Or at least point me in the direction of whatever this world's version of, like, Google is or whatever so I can independently research.

Everyone brought to this place is given a designation: witch or monster. Witches are able to perform spells from various schools of magic while monsters take on traits of their assigned creature and usually show more obvious physical symptoms. Fur. Horns. Extra limbs. It's sometimes unseemly.
Focus on understanding this world before asking me about jutsu, also. While I've learned about Google it's not to compare it to anything here; you'll need to visit a library.
no subject
...oh.
[ Hoooboy has she got some questions for Stiles, now. ]
Library it is, then. You shouldn't have brought it up if you didn't want to explain it. I'll figure it out myself, I'm good at that, too.
no subject
Anyway, do you need help finding the library?
no subject
[ She has no idea how to handle this person. ]
No, Stiles will probably know. I'll have him show me once I'm a little settled.
no subject
Slow everything down for a minute. ]
You know Stiles? You're one of his associates? [ "Associate" is a strange word to use here, maybe stranger than "interrogate", but he sticks to his guns. ]
no subject
[ She's not his and never has been; she knows that, that's all Scott. But in the wake of Allison's death and considering everything they've been through together since, yeah. Stiles is her best friend. ]
no subject
Yes, I've known him for a few months now. Overly inquisitive, sharp, energetic, and void of common sense. That's him?
no subject
[ She adores him for all of those things. ]
He's not void of common sense when it matters the most, though.
no subject
[ Which is something that would come across as sweet with context, because he does care about Stiles, but he doesn't frame it well. As usual. ]
My name is Sasuke Uchiha. [ finally, an introduction. ]

[ Shockingly, on this particular thing, Lydia actually gets it and is on the same page. ]
Lydia Martin.
no subject
I know who you are, he's mentioned you before.
no subject
Yeah? Well, hopefully it was all good things.

[ Spoiler alert: he gets the girl, but even she's past that point in their lives, now, so it's sort of a strange feeling being around some version of him who isn't her boyfriend because he hasn't gotten there yet when she's from a time when he's not her boyfriend because they've been there, done that, and decided it's better to just be friends. Some of her interactions with him are a little more awkward now because she has to be more aware of herself and how much or little tactile connection she allows herself to have with him so she doesn't break his brain. This place is so weird... ]
Have you known him long?
no subject
[ He's a work in progress, not yet deserving of the nickname "sweetie". One day he'll earn it. One day... ]
I suppose it makes sense, either way. He's too easily embarrassed, which I can say even as someone who's only known him for a few months. Are you relieved to find someone that you know is here or are you disappointed?
no subject
Well, I won't tell him if you don't; problem solved. ...kind of both? It's nice to not be trying to figure it out all by myself and a familiar face is reassuring, but also, I hate that they're here and not home.
[ She'd have tacked on "with family," but Derek doesn't really have much of that these days... ]
And there are two people here, apparently. I know Derek Hale, a little, as well. Do you know him?
no subject
[ That's what was important, right? ]
I've heard of him but haven't spoken to him. If it helps, it's been reported that time doesn't pass back in our worlds while we're trapped here. If that's true, their loved ones won't be worried about them.
