The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

Yeah, something like that! If we've all been tossed into another world at a whim, whose to say that we can't get tossed to another once we leave here? That's why it's a relief to know you got home... for a little while, at least.

I wonder if there have been other people who ended up back home too before finding their way here again. Guess it's hard to say without asking everyone.

Traveling to other worlds is getting a little too magical for me. Already got a headache just thinking about coming to this one.

At least some of the people here don't seem to mind, but I don't know if that sentiment would be shared elsewhere.

[The people of Cocoon would have gone into hysterics if someone from another world showed up on their precious planet...]

That's a thought! I'm not sure how people on my Planet would react. Not the strangest thing that's happened there, though! :)

There's magic... but people don't exactly embrace it the way they do here. They run from it instead. It's not a burden anyone wants to have.
