The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches

Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course!

Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

[Petra had tried her best. She knows she can be difficult to understand at times but she thinks her message had made sense.]

But what are you meaning?

You were home? And now you are here AGAIN? You are returning?

Were you keeping your memories of this place?

Yeah... I've got my memories, but I think I might be the exception. Met someone earlier who didn't.

[More importantly, didn't remember her... which is why she asks—]

Do we know each other?

An exception. Strange.

And you were remembering this place when you were home?

Oh. No. We are not knowing one another. But you are the first person I am seeing who has left and returned here.

Were people looking for you when you were going home? Were they thinking you had disappeared?

No one knew I was gone. Not even me.

Had no memory of this place as soon as I left it, and it didn't come back until I did. I went home like it never existed.

Weird, huh?

[Kind of sad, when she thinks about it...]

That has so much strangeness!

And no memory of this place... that is what I was wondering.

Thank you for answering. I had great curiosity of what it will be like to return home. And I was hoping my friends and allies would not be thinking that I had abandoned them.

They'll have no idea. Only good thing to come out of this whole thing. From the sounds of it, time works a little differently, too. What I thought was a week turned out to be four months here.

No problem. Figured I should at least spread the word to people who don't know about it.
