[God, he didn't really want to say this because Yu can hear him and his partner was already feeling so bad.] Look, my arm got kinda mauled by accident and I'd rather not go to the hospital so...

_{[And twenty minutes later she's pushing open the door to Yosuke's abode, a hempen tote bag strung over her shoulder, stuffed with...something. Multiple somethings. Hm.]}

_{[Don't mind her as she heads toward the kitchen, clearly unafraid of making herself at home. Boy needs to eat, okay.]}

[All bloodied laundry was in the wash and he had clean clothes in, he had taken a shower just before Tataru’s call so when she walked in, he was in the kitchen. Their counter was visible even from the doorway, he was seated their with the medicinal salves and potions he had made. All low level and beginners, but effective enough to keep things clean and healing nicely as long as he kept on it.

He was trying to get the bandage tied off but the angle was awkward when she walked in.]

H-Hey Tataru, sorry, gimme a minute.

[His cheek had been easier so he was glad that was out of the way. This was harder with only one arm though.]

_{[It only takes a glance to realize what he's fiddling with, struggling with tying off the bandage on his arm. Well, that won't do, will it? Slinging off the bag she'd brought she sets it down before hurrying over to where he is, beckoning him to lean toward her so she can get at his arm.]}

Here, here! Let me do it. I'll have it knotted for you.

[He looked almost relieved, leaning down for her to tie it off. He was pretty certain he did a good job otherwise, though.]

Thanks, sorry for making you do all this. I swear I'm pretty self-sufficient otherwise.

_{[Her deft, tiny fingers make light work of the bandage, easily knotting it and making it snug on Yosuke's arm. She can't imagine how badly his arm must've been hurt. Tendou had more or less mauled her's but Henry was adept enough at healing that one would never know she'd been hurt. It's hard not to feel sympathy for him.]}

Oh it's nothing, really. Don't worry! Besides, everyone needs a bit of help sometimes, right?

_{[She sure does, despite how independent she is.]}

[He sighed in relief when it was done. Nice and snug and it was sore but it he could deal with it. He nodded and smiled lightly.]

Yeah, you're right. Just wish partner would realize that sooner, you know.

[He slouched on the stool, holding his hands together between his knees as he looked down. It had barely been a day and it was already hard without him. It wasn't the same as when Yu moved away, they'd prepared for it and it wasn't like Yosuke could feel his emotions then.]

I know.

_{[Her voice is soft and sweet, kept low in an attempt to be a comfort. He looks so down...it's sad to see, really. She can't help but reach out and pat him reassuringly on the knee.]}
