Hello, everyone. I'm Izumi Tachibana, and I just arrived here. [ Hm. Kind of standard, but it sets the scene well enough, doesn't it? ] I'd like to speak to any other witches in the city about, um... [ She can't quite believe she's saying this in any context that doesn't involve a play; ] — magic.

[ She still has some questions about this whole thing. Lots of questions, but the crowd was huge. ]

... Well, I guess it would be the magic here, mostly. But it would be interesting to learn about other kinds of magic, too.

[ Maybe? Maybe that has something to do with it. She's just spitballing here, trying to find out whatever she can. ]

Yes. It's... a bit different than what I'm used to. Magic and spells are usually so guarded by the families that have them.

I guess that makes us fellow beginners at magic schools. [ It's been a while since she was in any sort of class. Will she be any good at it? ] But I'm sure you'll do well.

As it happens, there is an entire institution dedicated to the study of magic, Miss Tachibana! — but I suppose you have a particular question in mind?

I don't know about that.

[ Especially because what it sounds like is that witches need to use magic A Lot to avoid exploding. ]

Do you go to your classes? What are they like?

[ She laughs, and it's a sheepish one. It was easier than listing out every question that came to mind and then being annoyed she didn't ask another one that came to mind. ]

Well, do people learn all those areas of magic?

[ Despite the mild embarrassment in her laugh, her question comes through much more clearly and with more assurance. It's good to ask questions, after all. And good to learn from the other Mirrorbound here, too.

Like when you're going for a job — you want to know what the people at the company say about it, not the bosses, right? ]

That's also my plan. It's been a long time since I went to any classes... [ But she's used to rounding up a bunch of, uh, diverse actors, so she'll know how to behave as to not annoy the instructor. ]

I have attended classes. It would be foolish to try to practice magic without first learning the source and how to properly utilize it, don't you think?

Now I imagine the classroom structure is no different than what you'd expect. There is a teacher, a lecture, book work, and practical work.
