[At first, nothing appears in the video aside from the expanse of sky and the hint of a stone wall at the edge of the image—-soon enough however, something large and white encompasses the screen, a muted snuffing noise filling the audio.

Soon after, a gloved hand appears in the frame as well, pushing what appears to be a scaled snout out of the picture with some indistinguishable words before the face of a tan man appears in the frame, hair mussed from what appears to be a large reptile nuzzling its snout against the back of his head.]

Sorry about that, I’m still working out the kinks of how this thing works. [A hand gestures to the screen.] I’m in a bit of a bind though, and I figured this would be the quickest way to get answers.

[The white creature shoves it’s head under his arm, resulting it a bit of a scuffle before Claude settles for scratching its chin.] See, my girl here is getting kind of antsy, and I was wondering if there were any good places to let her go flying, as well as hunt for food. Of course I could buy her meat at the shopping district, but-- [he’s temporarily shoved out of frame before pushing the scaly head away] --stop for just a second would you--but I think some exercise would do us both good. Does anyone more familiar with this place know somewhere to stretch out your wings?

Making a deal with a farmer would probably be the safest bet for now, if I can find a deal worth making.

Though she could probably be taught to recognize the scent--not that I could point it out to her quite yet. Or ever, considering this world saw no need to give me a stronger scent of smell.

Is conveying something directly to her something you can do? Or did you learn to speak wyvern during your time here?

[He's genuinely intrigued by how Felix could do such a thing. Curiosity only eats away at him more.]

And to answer your previous question, it does seem like I have been welcomed into the Coven here--though as you know it's only been a short while since I arrived so I still am navigating this new system of things.

No, I do not speak wyvern, don't get ahead of yourself. I'll be able to smell it, and she'll be able to smell it. From there, she must be made to understand that smell as a threat in whatever way she knows best.

Well, I can work with that. [Wouldn't be the first time he's trained a wyvern to watch out for certain signals.] As long as you can pick out the specific scent.

And I'm not very keen on exploding from the inside, so I'm taking my time before I start attempting anything wild.

Not to mention our dear friend Sylvain has promised me some supplementary reading material, so I'm sure I'll have plenty to look over outside of lectures.
