Alright I'll admit it, this place is a significant improvement over the other world that I left behind. And yes, I'm saying that even keeping the doomsday magical blight in mind. Things sucked pretty bad for me, back on the other side of the mirror.
That said... I've yet to see anything that would validate the concern, but just in case, I'm putting this warning out there. If you happen to see any strange creatures running around, ones that look like globs of oil that have somehow spontaneously gained sentience and the ability to hate? Fucking tell me. And try to keep an eye on your things. Like, if you suddenly find yourself with two coffee mugs, but you're absolutely positive that you used to only have one? Smash them both.

I wonder how many people that have arrived through the Looking-Glass House have experienced these kinds of things before? Things a little bit like the Shades and Cwyldtid, in theory, I mean. Resembling them at least. Whether it's just a coincidence or not.
Hopefully we just have the doomsday magical blight to contend with, but I'll keep my eye out for anything that seems suspicious like you've described. Sounds like something we don't want to add to the pile.

Can't say I'm interested in seeing if other people have experienced similar things in their own worlds, though. I'm not sure that the discovery of inter-dimensional convergent doomsday evolution is something I want to put on my list of accomplishments.
