Hey everyone!

First of all, welcome to all the new arrivals! Seems like we had a really big group this time. I'm sorry you got dragged into all of this.

Anyway, my name's Elliot. I'm a musician and a healer. If you're interested in music lessons, I offer private and group lessons for violin, piano, guitar, recorders, harmonica, or singing. It's always a good time to learn, and the first lesson's free! Oh and don't worry if your monster changes might complicate things, we'll find a workaround! Just let me know if you're interested.

Finally, for most of my stay here, I've been studying how to heal Cwyld infections under the Coven's infirmary. I've gotten pretty far...but I can only see so many people. So...I want to offer lessons to teach people what I've learned. I'm only allowed to teach methods that the Coven will approve of me sharing, but they should be effective at healing new or mild infections!

Unfortunately only witches will be able to do the techniques. Not only that, it's pretty tough stuff to learn and if it goes wrong it can lead permanent damage. So anyone who wants to learn will have to prove they're capable with alchemy and enchantments first. Sorry.

Well, that narrows it down some. I don't really want to play anything where I have to sit down the whole time. Maybe the recorder? That sounds like it could be fun, and I'm definitely a total beginner.

Could you send me a video of the recorder, and maybe the violin? I mean, only if it's really no trouble. It's so nice of you to offer lessons in the first place.

Pre-made salves and runes might be a good idea. And it can't hurt to have some Monsters trained up, if at all possible, in case there's some crisis and something happens to all the Witches or they're just swamped and need reinforcements. You can't be too careful is all I'm saying.

I don't know, yet, no. I don't even know how people figure that sort of thing out. I mean I know it'll be obvious eventually but I want to know now.

Which ones are more sensitive?

And I can't say you're wrong. Maybe once more witches know how to make the supplies, we can look into making extra so monsters can have on stock.

Right...I know some people are given clues by any dreams they had, or early changes...but besides that, I think waiting for the changes is what most people have to do.

The sensitive monsters are Fae and Dragons. Though those are pretty rare types, so you might be okay.

Wow, those are wonderful! You are super talented, how long have you played?

I think I will go with the recorder, it looks like a lot of fun.

[ Reynir actually feels comforted, when Elliot mentions that there might be clues in his dreams. He doesn't have access to his magic, here, but he is used to information coming to him in dreams, and visions, and omens. He should see if there is any way to induce dreams... surely that will help him get the information quicker. ]

You're right and it's probably safer for me to wait and see if I am one of those. But if I'm not, and if it doesn't take too much of your time away from training other witches, I want to do whatever is possible to help.

Even if it's just helping with set-up or cleaning or anything boring like that.

Perfect! I have openings in the afternoon and evening- is there any days that don't work for you?

[He's glad this guy seems to take it well. He's met a lot of monsters that get rather impatient. Reynir seems like a nice person]

Of course, it's a good idea. I'll look into what can be done for monsters who want to help. Hopefully I can think of something.

I can tell. I hope I can be half that good someday. I'll send you my schedule and you can just tell me what time works for you?

[ Reynir figures that Elliot's schedule at the moment is probably a lot less flexible than his own. He had only just returned to this place, and so he doesn't have any standing commitments, yet.]

Should I bring a recorder? Also, do you have a good idea where I could buy a recorder?

Oh don't worry, I have plenty to spare so you can have one of mine! Back when I was learning how to conjure instruments...I ended up conjuring a lot of recorders.

Wow, seriously, be honest: is there anything you CAN'T do?

[ Reynir is, to put it mildly, very impressed with Elliot's many and varied skills. He is looking forward to meeting him, and learning from him. It might not be as useful to the world at large as it would be if he could learn healing magic and help stop the Cwyld, but that option isn't open to him, and... he might as well seize what educational opportunities he can! ]

Well, who cares about those things, anyway?

[ Reynir can dismiss the importance of such physical feats casually because he's an extremely healthy, fit, strong farm boy who has never had to imagine what it would be like if he could not do those things. ]

My point is that the stuff you can do sounds super cool to me.
