With Monika taking over most of the day-to-day duties running the refugee school and me only really teaching one or two classes a day there, now, I've come to realize I am left with well more free time than I should probably responsibly have.
[ there were reasons for that, of course, but she doesn't go into them. but anyone that's seen her since February already knows why, or can at least reasonably guess. her disability ran a bit further than simple needing a cane to get around. ]
So, seeing a whole new batch of mirrorbound, many of whom are witches new to this world's magic, I figure since I've been here well over a year myself I could
offer myself as a magic tutor!
Personalized, one on one lessons. Any school you could think of, I know at least enough to help teach it by now. But I am especially interested in helping those who have an interest in divination. Astrology has always been my specialty.
[ please give her something to do, her Bonded are going to be driven crazy at this rate. ]

[...So everyone she meets??? More likely than you'd think.]
just you know if someone mentions that they are struggling
then i let them know you're a good person to talk to and work with

Although, I've been meaning to speak to you about something unrelated about all of this, too.
no subject
oh did you want to meet up to talk about it or???
no subject
It's about your bond.

[But even in her confusion, her response is as chipper as ever.]
i can go over to your apartment if u think that'd be a good place to talk!

let me clean up a bit. [ a lot. ]

[That's probably not the amount of time that Chariot was hoping for, but any attempts to ask for a longer timeframe is going to fall on deaf ears as her watch inevitably ends up shoved in her bag or forgotten somewhere out the door, and it's really anyone's guess as to which it ends up being. But it's not like Chariot's in for any judgment about the state of her apartment. Akko's not exactly the tidiest person on the planet to begin with and it's not like she hasn't been in Chariot's space before.]
[But fortunately for Chariot, Akko's not exactly the most prompt person on the planet either. It' buys her like an extra five minutes before there's a knock.]

By the time she answered the door, she looked a bit flushed, even, the effort just a bit more for her than it would have been with a more functional set of legs. ]
C-come in. Would you like some coffee or tea?
no subject
[Actually, that's a lie. She doesn't really politely ignore anything. The fact Akko doesn't comment at all on it says she doesn't even really notice as she steps inside.]
Tea would be nice! [Although she's never held a dislike for it, Akko's never been super big into tea when offered the choice. But Diana really is and has it a lot, so she's gotten more of a taste for it herself just by virtue of spending more time with her.] Do you want help making it?
[Okay, maybe she doesn't consciously notice that Chariot's just worked her butt off to get the apartment into some semblance of order, but some part of her does. And she likes being helpful.]

[ Chariot didn't feel self-conscious about receiving that sort of aid. She was learning to live with her leg the way it is, and accept help more readily. And besides, that way they could have a task to focus on while they worked.
Grabbing the kettle and filling it, Chariot hummed. ]
So... have you and Diana talked at all about moving in together?
no subject
Uh, she mentioned something about it to me the other day? [Is that it? No. Oh, there it is! Akko grabs the tea out of the cabinet.] I told her I’' think about it 'cause...I don't know.
[What a lying liar. She does know. Akko just doesn't really know how to say it because she doesn't know what exactly the problem is. Diana and her have become a lot closer since coming to Aefenglom, but Akko still gets the sense that something about Akko manages to put Diana a little off-kilter for some reason or another. She closes the cabinet and stands back up.]
