For those who are Witches, how do you decide what you want to learn first or specialize in?

I was a bit of a jack of all trades back home, you could say. A wildcard. [Heh. Of course only Persona Protags would get that.] I know I could just try everything and see what sticks. But I’d like to hear other opinions, please.

Going with what's easy isn't wrong though. Many have already suggested going with what I'm familiar with, which would be the easier route in a way. So I might end up just doing that.

Stuff that kinda matches it. Things you'd kind of find in a video game, to be honest? Offense magic like fire, ice, and lightning. Status buffs like creating barriers and stuff like that. Just nothing like... runes or saying a spell or using or wand.

I guess it would be a lot like real magic to anyone else.
But that's exactly why I hesitate to call it magic, even if I have no real way to explain how it happens.

I use what's called a persona. I don't know how familiar you are with the term, but short version is that we all use masks of some kind to get through life. I'm able to manifest that into physical form and it's *that* that allows me to use magic.
