[One would think that Kolivan is a monster based on his appearance. A matter he's aware of but ignoring as he turns on the video to begin communication.]

Greetings. I am Kolivan.

[As polite as that sounds it almost seems...forced. Like he's gone centuries without having to deal with being so nice in greeting others. It's sadly not that far from the truth really.]

We are currently in the midst of several concerning matters. I will not make light of these but I do have an inquiry for those able to volunteer their time. It concerns matters involving my Bond mate.

Recently I have set about seeing to his training but it has come to my attention that he requires a weapon he will potentially have some skill in. Because of this I am putting in a request for someone with knowledge of a preferred smith or an offer of service in order to craft two bows and several arrows. Payment for service will be negotiable based on quality.

[He really does sound like he's insulting the one he's trying to help but he doesn't actually mean it that way.]

At any rate, ain't so sure about a bow n' arrow, but if he can get his hands on a gun, I'd be more than happy to offer lessons.

I am capable of offering him lessons in firearms as well. I have been trained in all form of weaponry.

[The offer is nice but he's protective of Lance. So he's sure to default to training himself for now. It's a bad habit of his.]

Should there be information on guns they would be preferable.

There's a fella named Percy I met on my first night. I know he does castin' for ammunition. If I recall, he said he lives out in the forge outside the wall. Ain't sure if he makes guns, or knows where you could get them, but I reckon you could ask.

Name's Ashe, by the way. I met Lance at the festival. He had some good things to say about you.

Hey, Kolivan, this is Sylvain, the one teaching Lance how to, well, use a lance. You know. I don't mean to presume that he's told you about me, but... well, we both know Lance.

I've also been working on a bit of a project to make light swords after one of my friends saw a memory from your world and became a bit enamored with the idea, and some of the early attempts have produced... projectiles.

That seems a little more in Lance's wheelhouse than a bow, at least, I think? I still have them around, and could probably teach you both how to use them - and you how to recharge them - if you'd be interested.

That would be more suited to his skill set. This sounds similar to a rifle which is something he would have more potential at succeeding in.

A rifle... that's something like a crossbow, right? It doesn't look anything like that at the moment, though the enchantment could be built into something that more closely resembles a "rifle" if one could be made...

I was trying to make swords, so at the moment the weapon looks like this when not activated.

The spell currently fires arrows of light from where the blade should be.

My fault for starting with a projectile spell in the first place, but if this step will have some use to you and yours... I can adapt it.

A crossbow, yes. However, there would be little need to reload as often is created properly.

I can provide you with more details and we can work together to create something. It seems you have greater knowledge on these Witch abilities than I do presently.

I suspect the only reloading that might be needed with this is recharging the magic involved...

But, yeah, we should work together to make something more familiar to you guys! And, hey, the only reason I'm halfway competent at these witch abilities is because I've been studying for months haha~ You'll catch up.

Ah, fair, but they should at least be able to build something to practice with.

One learns their weapon particularly well once they learn how it's properly created.

That's my philosophy, at least. I'll concede that it's not the only way to train.

Aye, so I have.

[ She adjusts the view so that a blood red spear can be seen. ] Carved from the spine of a creature I killed, and granted power by Primordial Runes. Though its 'curse' doesn't seem to work in this world, it's still the finest spear you'll ever find.

[Though his expression doesn't change in the slightest, he's actually admiring the craftsmanship of the spear. It seems well balanced and the intricacy of the detail is impressive even if isn't something he would prefer for one of his own weapons.]
