[The video opens on a silver haired teen recording from what seems to be the desk in his bedroom. The foot of his bed can be seen poking out from behind one of his shoulders when he shifts back into his seat. The hilt of his Keyblade is also visible from its place propped up in the corner. Riku's green eyes stare intently at the screen for a moment as he makes adjustments to its placement, and then he clears his throat and begins to speak.]
Hello. My name is Riku and I'm on here to offer tutoring to any Witches who may need help getting started with their studies, or who may be interested in receiving extra help. Aside from working with beginner's I also have strong skills in both Abjuration and Evocation class spells, as well as some dabbling with Divination. If any of that sounds interesting to you, just contact me and we can set up a time and place to meet.
[There's something a little rehearsed about his speech, as if this is something he's been repeating for awhile. But, hey, this is his first broadcast and he's trying to make the best of it. But when he speaks again his words come more naturally and relaxed.]
I also have a more general question I've been wondering about. For anyone that comes from a world that has magic, how does it compare to the magic of this world? Or are they very different? For me, I used to be able to wield magic through my Keyblade, no spells needed. Oh, and what's your favorite spell? Or type of magic? It can be from this world or not.
[There's genuine interest in his expression as he builds question upon question. Come talk magic with him!]

[It’s endearing and kind of adorable?]
Anyway, I’d like to take you up on tutoring.

[It's definitely saved his butt multiple times.]
Great. Have you thought about what class of magic you might be interested in yet? Or do you just want to try the basics for now?

I've no familiarity with a "key blade," but I am also used to casting magic without spells. Granted, it's considered advanced in my world - I spent my school years casting spells like the witches here do - but it's been a bit annoying having to go back to doing things the inconvenient way.

[His actually replicates a car key if you look closely enough and are familiar with such a thing.]
You must have been pretty skilled with magic in your world then. Have you had any other problems with the spells of this world? Like are they very different from those of your own world?

[ He answers him with a hint of annoyance and bitterness in his voice, not directed at the young man, but at their situation. With a sigh, Howl turns the page of the book open in front of him, but he's not really looking at it. ]
Regardless of how different or similar the practice of magic is here, none of my knowledge appears to be of much use. I've noticed in classes that I might catch on faster than other students, and if a physical skill is something I'm already versed in, then I don't need to relearn it, but... the magic itself is foreign. It's incredibly bizarre. Surely, it's the same for yourself?

[It's said with a small tease in his voice, but that tease doesn't last long. While he's not a witch himself, he can't help but be curious.]
How does the magic here differ, anyway? It's been weird, not having any of my own.

It's become something essential for me here.
[A way for him to protect himself and others. As well as make doing things like chores easier with minimal effort.]
Well, for starters there are a lot of way to cast magic here depending on the Witch's preference. Like Kairi and I use hand motions for casting some spells. But someone else might prefer to use speech to cast their spells.
[His hand moves to brush up the short sleeve on his left arm, revealing a small, black tattoo of a keyhole.] There are also tattoos like this can help people activate their spells.
And I haven't even gotten to the variety of magic classes yet.

[He's in the camp of "point the metal key-shaped beatstick at the thing and let magic happen", so he can see why Riku would find other magic interesting.]
I remember the magic tattoos. When I first got here there were some temporary ones that let monsters use magic too.
[He'd been interested when he first arrived. He didn't go for it in the end, but it was interesting.]

[Sora, you can't learn any magic here... But he's just supporting his best friend!!]

Besides, you would make a terrible student.
[He means it. But with love.]

[It's not the same as magic here! But that's Sora's reasoning anyway.]

Besides, studying magic here isn't like back home. It's a lot more like school.

but then again yeah i don't really want to study or do homework.
is there any other way i can help you out with teaching people then, riku?

I used to use a lot of artes back home. Mostly healing artes, but I knew some wind artes, too. [ "Used to" are the key words here, of course. A bit hard to use magic when you're a monster. ] I'm not a doctor or nothin', but it'll get the job done in a pinch.
