i have a huge favor to ask!!!

so i need help with replacing my friend's 'skateboard' because his looks terrible and i'm pretty sure it'll snap in two when he's trying to jump some stairs or whatever

honestly i thought it was some kind of chew stick or something when i first saw it... it gave me like, ten splinters when i picked it up......... this is what it looks like



anyways if someone could help me make a new one or find one that doesn't look like a hazard i'll make it up to you!

oh don't worry about him seeing this i'm borrowing his device so it'll be a surprise for him :)

Wood will have to do for the board itself. A composite would be too complicated for what we have to work with. Maple, or something close to it, should do.

I will need some metal scrap and access to a forge for melting it, though I can handle the molds for the pieces I need on my own.

The wheels may be an issue. Do you know any witches capable of transmogrification?

hmm... i don't know any places to forge but i can try finding one? i do know someone who has fire magic! is that helpful?

Raw is fine. A solid piece will be easier to work with than smaller ones I'll have to fit together.

There should be a forge. I know at one point someone was crafting metal items.

I will of course be asking for monetary compensation for my time.

I do like it! I'm not very good at it though

Killua is really good at it though, he taught me how a little before he ended up leaving his board at home which is why i didnt get a ton of practice or anything. I think he might like to do it in a place like this!

[and the moment roxas walks into the room ven is already walking out, oh so casual]

Nope! Maybe you should ask Sora if he's seen it?

I did, he said he hasn't seen it and to ask you.

[He follows after Ven.]

You sure you didn't see it lying around anywhere? Or pick it up by mistake?

Woah, that's weird!

[nope he's still walking away, tucking something in his front pocket.]

I'm sure it's somewhere around here. Maybe check under the bed?

[Roxas would definitely do what Ventus suggests, but he notices him tucking something away. That makes him frown suspiciously.]

...Ven? What are you doing?

[there's just something inherently exciting about egging on a chase... he can't explain why, unfortunately for everyone else who has to deal with it.]

Nothing! I'm gonna head out, gotta run a bunch of errands!

[and he makes a break for the stairs]

[And just like Ven feels a rush of excitement for egging on a chase, Roxas can't help the way his blood pumps at the prospect of chasing something. Especially if that something is Ven after he's taken one of his things.]

Ven! Did you take it??

[And he makes a break after Ven!]

[he definitely did and that's definitely why he's running outside at full sprinting speed.]

[And that is Roxas running after Ven at full speed trying to chase after him.]

Why did you take it?! Give it back!!

[it's easier to run when he's outside, less stuff in the way for him to trip over. or people to run into.]

No!

[the adrenaline helps keep the edge off of the pain in his leg when it starts to flare up. instead of running towards the neighborhood ven aims for the treeline.]

I need to borrow it!

Why?? You have your own!!

[It's probably for the best they moved this chase outside. Roxas can get pretty narrow-minded when he's on the chase, after all.]

[he yells out as he weaves around trees and jumps over fallen branches. one too many jumps shoots a sharp pain up his leg and he stumbles but he ignores the pain for now.]

Why??

[Roxas doesn't understand, why his comm?? The trees and branches make for interesting obstacles, but at least no one will be upset if he trips over some branches or kicks up a clump of dirt.]

'Cause-

[he's cut off when his foot catches an exposed root and ven goes tumbling down into the grass and fallen leaves with a loud thud.]

[Aha! That's his chance. Roxas bounds through the wooded area, towards the area where he heard the thud.]
