[It's somewhere around mid-morning on full moon day when this post goes up, Momo doing his best to look somewhat professional-ish while obviously sitting himself half up in bed with his head resting on one curled hand. He looks extremely awake and restless like he's been wanting to get up for a while, but the suspiciously tentacle-looking charcoal grey thing barely in frame wrapped around his waist is probably a giveaway as to why he's having to make the post from this position.]

I've been thinking about this for a little while, but with everyone sharing information on here about stuff that's happened before some people arrived or what Monster changes to expect and so on, has anyone tried to get that kind of "relevant to everyone" information into one place? I was originally thinking about the collective dreams we kept having, since those seem to be important but it's kinda hard to get details on the ones that happened before you arrived unless you know who to ask. But I've also talked to certain Monsters who seem to have had real trouble researching their Monster type, and having a proper resource with changes or abilities that don't come up in books as often seems like it could be really useful for people going through that.

[As he talks, another tentacle creeps into frame and tries to poke at his face. Without even faltering in his speech, he pushes it right back out of frame with one red-nailed finger. And then flicks another one that barely even makes it past the edge of the frame before recoiling at the reprimand.]

So I'm wondering what people think about trying to put together more information in one collected place like that! I think it could really help some people out, but it'd take a lot of work to put together, so it'd be good to know whether there's interest in both having it and helping out with it. Especially with Monster details some people might not know until they meet someone who's gone through that change already, since that's probably a little easier to gather...like, if you're a Monster, what was the thing that surprised you most about your change? Or was there anything you couldn't find out about before it happened? That question goes for Witches living with Monsters if you got blindsided by something too!

[There's a sound of movement and a grumble that sounds something along the lines of "sleep", as a human arm with blue nails drapes itself over Momo's side. Momo turns his head with an all too sunny smile.]

Ah, darling, are you awake enough to let me out of bed now?

[Silence. Momo turns back to the Watch screen with a worryingly innocent grin that reveals his long canines.]

Well, I guess I'm answering from here...and you know, it's so much easier to have a conversation like this over video or audio call! Just make sure you speak up nice and loud, I think being stuck in bed this long has done something to my ears.

[He says that in a very deliberate, faux worried tone, winking as he mimes clearing his ear with a pinky. Sure, it's an actual serious inquiry, but might as well make a petty attempt at gaining freedom by making sleep impossible.]

Yeah, there's that too, I was thinking more about the torture potential. [Just...well, not casually, but his tone remains about the same level of serious the whole way through.]

Glad there hasn't been anyone else getting the same ideas since then, at least. Even if it's not exactly been peaceful either, but I'll take the small victories.

I guess...But wouldn't you want to be able to heal it. So they don't die. [What a conversation for Yuki to maybe wake up to. But there's an unamused grunt from Mikasa.]

Maybe that excution scared the others off. That's how it happened back home.

Depends how good they are at it. They might not need to heal anything to keep someone alive. [Momo is 99% sure Yuki is still safely asleep, otherwise he probably wouldn't be having this conversation. Even now that Yuki is aware Momo is a bit messed up, he doesn't tend to show it off in front of him unless he has to.]

That's usually how making an example of someone works. A lot of countries in my world banned the death penalty, but there are still ways to punish something hard enough that nobody else is going to want to try it.

So if they were doing that stuff like they would back home... [Where they had to keep the prisoner alive to get the info. Where they'd learnt Commander Hange and Capitan Runt were very good at it.]

We have that. [Would Momo really be surprised by that though?] It doesn't happen often. Or there'd be a revolt. Back during the coup a few years ago a lot of the nobility were taken in... I'm not sure what the Commander-in-Chief did, but the rest handed their assets over and agreed to live under house arrest.

[All she knew there, is it had something to do with a chair. And that he'd wanted to do the same to Eren.]

Oh yeah, we've definitely had violent deathy revolts in the past, and the death penalty used to be widespread too, so I'd be surprised if your world didn't have it. [Good old humans doing their awful human things regardless of what world it was in.]

Some people still go the causing deaths to make their point route, but they're the kinds of people a law was never going to stop in the first place.

[She hums, nodding. One day she might use video instead of text or audio.]

I think even the nicest world would have something like that. [The world she was from might have been more brutal in some ways, that was only because other worlds had gotten more...efficient. Their talk of weaponry was a testament to that.] Even if the police weren't like they were where I'm from. There'd always be someone who wants to cause trouble.

Well, yeah, people are like that. [Momo's seen too many garbage people in his time to be particularly optimistic about that sort of thing, he's just not usually quite as bland about it.]

But that's kind of a depressing topic. Maybe it's a sign I should get back to proper waking duties?

[Unseen, he reaches back to try and poke Yuki in the side, to no avail.]

Ah... [Silence, then there's a small whistle. Then the pitter patter of tiny little feeties, the boy is coming.

Then it was time for the yips. A lot of high pitched yips. Ones that get louder as Mikasa lifted the dog closer to the watch.]

[Even if the yips don't do much, Yuki is probably going to be having a bad time anyway considering Momo practically squeals in excitement once he hears the unmistakeable yaps of a tiny dog.]

Wait, you have a puppy!? We need to have a dog meet, Haku and Sen need more cute friends!

[They'd be considerably larger than her puppy, but it's fine. Probably.]

[stopfen]

Huh, yeah. I've had him a few months now. My first bonded gave me him.[ Enjoy your sepia clip of a very fluffy puppy stuck in his food bowl]

Oh, that's a while...I got Haku and Sen all the way back at the end of March, I think? [When he started to run out his Bond time and decided he'd just get some familiars and bullshit to people that he had a Bond. Which, to be fair, did end up a bit necessary since it took him almost 4 months to get a Bond rather than the 3 after which he would've seriously risked exploding.]

So they've grown a lot in that time, though they were only barely puppies when I got them, honestly.

I think he's supposed to be small. He's grown a little bit... [Before it was hard to tell he had legs. Just a walking bundle of fur, now little paws stuck out. Of course, being a monster. The dog served no purpose for a bond, instead, he was an outlet. For all those lovely fae instincts. So she wouldn't kidnap randomly.

...It didn't quite work. But she did dote on him.]

Aren't they wolves though? They would be bigger than a dog...Though I've been told he's a lion dog. I'm not sure what that means though.

Well, some kinds of dogs are like that. [Says the guy from the world of ridiculously tiny toy dogs that have been bred to within an inch of their life.]

I think there are dogs that are similarly sized to wolves? Or a few that are bigger, though I don't think I've seen any of those ones here. I don't think I've seen any lion dogs, though. That sounds like it'd be something bigger, if it had lion anything in it - the things we called lion dogs in my world were kinda huge, but we only ever had statues of them.

I guess I've not really seen many. [Dogs ate meat and meat was an expense most couldn't afford. A cat could live off of mice, but most had no way of keeping a dog. She'd only ever heard stories of feral ones in the woods.]

Really? I'm not sure what lions are...Tendou said they were cats with fluffy necks. He has that, and he has claws too.

They are, but they're also much bigger than something like a housecat. They're closer to the size of a deer or a horse, since that's the kind of stuff they feed on in the wild.

[He feels like she wouldn't know what a zebra was, so he's using horse as a "close enough" kind of comparison point for size.]

[Momo...Enjoy the sound of the boy's happy pants as he was pet. Because Mikasa didn't speak for a moment, too busy looking down at the tiny dog in her lap.]

..........He's only four months old.

[Still a baby. Yes.]

Lion cubs are still about the size of a medium-ish dog, though, I think...so maybe yours is just doomed to be tiny forever?

[He's pretty sure a lot of dogs grow a lot in their first year, too, but he's never owned one so he can't judge how unusual a size this might be for a four month old.]

But that means he'll be super cute forever, too!

Doomed? [It's said so mournfully. Momo are you implying that's a bad- Then he says he'll be cute forever. Yes, good. She is appeased.]

He'd still be cute even if he got bigger... [But she snorts.] I should leave you to get free.

[Of the tentacle prison.]

Yeah, but being tiny is extra double cute points. [There's just something about tiny things that makes people want to coo all over them, especially tiny animals.

But he can't really argue with her suggestion, and he gives a faux dramatic sigh.]

Right, I need to go back to saving myself from this damsel in distress situation...I'm sure we'll talk soon, though!
