Good evening, fellow Mirrorbound. I'm Re:vale's Yuki. This is my first time greeting most of you.

[Yuki shows off a rather interesting picture of a certain partner of his.]

This man is probably more familiar to some of you. He's my partner, Momo. We've been partners for several years, but he's been here longer than I have. So, bearing that in mind, two things.

One, if you know Momo personally and we haven't met, since it's probably my fault I'd like to correct that now.

Second. Regardless of who you are, if you see him fighting or doing anything dangerous, stop him and remind him for me that I will know if he gets so much as a cut or bruise, so he should be more careful than he has been in the past. And if it's on his incredibly handsome face, I'll find whoever or whatever did it, and we'll discuss alternate methods for conflict resolution.

[His smile is ice cold. But he's still devastatingly handsome, so whatever. Please note however Momo is definitely the brawn in this partnership.]

He seems the determined sort, though. [So… it's even odds whether Thancred intends to try and stop Momo. He'll have a look at the situation.]

[Yuki's an idol. He knows how to be polite for the cameras. It's an effort, though, and a lot of the formality drops once he is out of general public discussion.]

Shy? I wonder... compared to Momo, I might be.

[A fond smile.]

Sometimes Momo does things before he considers the consequences properly. It's really charming, but if he gets hurt too much I'll have to start going with him to protect him.

[Something he understands, settling a little more himself.]

I suppose I'll see once we're better acquainted.

[He chuckles, a wry smile on his face.]

A few of my friends have been that sort of person. They've always managed to get themselves out, but… well, I'd say it's a little more reassuring to know there's someone with them. Perhaps it's worth going with him either way.

Right now it's very much "Momo against the world" in my head, but he's the kind of guy who naturally makes people love him just by existing. Even if I'm worried, he probably has somebody or another looking out for him.

[So why does Yuki look a little... unimpressed with that fact?]

Have you seen Momo fight anything? Or anyone, I guess.

I imagine so. He's quite a likeable person.

[Hm. At a guess, he'd say Yuki either wants to be there- or thinks that it would be better if Momo didn't need someone there to begin with.]

Hm…. Not exactly. There was the time we spent underground, helping to flush out the leylines there.

( a face on a name, at long last, though yuki’s speech slightly clashes with the mental image momo had inspired. regardless, lan wangji bows, clad in white and pale blues, a formal greeting. ) Re:vale’s Yuki. I am Lan Wangji.

( and lan wangji gets it. he understands the sentiment, wanting to protect a loved one at all costs, but. if he seems mostly stern, the glint in his eyes tells a different story, and his mouth marginally softens. ) You mean to forfend, but a free spirit cannot be caged. ( and if momo is anywhere near as stubborn as wei wuxian, good luck. )

[Momo has Ideas about Yuki, and Yuki is being very polite for the purposes of idoldom. Give him a minute.

He bows equally formally, a slightly cool, enigmatic smile on his lips.]

It's nice to meet you. Momo is a free spirit, but so am I. If I say it to him directly, he might conveniently forget in the moment. Maybe if I have a whole city watching out for him, he'll be a little less apt to do dangerous things recklessly. I'm not asking anyone to stop him. Just remind him not to get hit too hard.

[Yuki glances away for a moment, and his smile is a little more genuine when he looks back.]

What good's a call-out if he doesn't feel called out?

Ah! Are you Momo's boyfriend?

[ There was a lot of threats in there, but they're a. directed at probably deserving people and b. he is numb to hearing them after being friends with certain people for too long. ]

[Wow. First time he's been asked that directly since the answer changed from "no" to "yes". Hm. Yuki blinks, then smiles fondly.]

That's right. We're business partners, too.

[Just to clarify, because he's had to clarify it before.]

Mm, you're idols together, right?

[ He doesn't know too much about Yuki personally from Momo's stories, but he at least knows details like this. ]

Correct. ...You know what idols are?

[Color Yuki surprised.]

Mm! I've never really followed any idols, so I don't really know any specific ones, but they do exist in my world.

[Momo rarely text posts if he has an excuse not to, but in this case he'd rather make it harder for Yuki to read his mood.

Though he's directing the message to anyone else who shows up, rather than Yuki.]

As you can see, my Yuki likes to pick fights he can't win without help (๑´•ω •`๑)
So since he's been so nice as to show you all what he looks like, I think you'd all be much better served making sure he doesn't get in over his head if you see him~~
He needs it much more than I do, after all ★~(◠‿◕✿)

[He'll respond if he's addressed...except by Yuki, because he'll be too busy hunting him down to discuss this in person. But otherwise this will be his only interaction with the post.]

[Mr. Opportunist here might've waited until Momo wasn't at home to do that, but it won't take much looking to find him thereafter. He's in the kitchen, hair tied back, an apron over loose, comfortable clothes that are much less formal and crisp than what he just wore for the PSA.]

[Since the kitchen counter faces out into the lounge, Momo can't come in completely quietly from the front door. However, the back door is still nicely out of sight, and there's absolutely no indication of Momo's arrival until--]

Yuki. [A stern voice comes right next to his ear as a pair of red nailed hands appear on Yuki's hips from behind and a very displeased looking Momo face comes to rest on his shoulder, the rest of him fading back into view with it.

Isn't illusion magic for concealment's sake fun.] When has dragging other people into our arguments after you've already lost ever worked?

[Considering Momo doesn't like inconveniencing people, he sounds disappointed in him more so than angry.]

[Absolutely never.

He flinches at the touch, putting the knife he was using down rather gingerly as Momo fades into view. Unfair use of magic. He almost sent some carrot-like vegetable flying in surprise.]

I wouldn't have to drag other people into it if you'd listen to me to begin with.

[He's vaguely aware that that is the completely wrong thing to say, but he's also Yuki and therefore kind of a petulant brat when it comes to protecting Momo from things he absolutely cannot protect him from by conventional means.]

[Momo makes sure the knife is down before his grip on Yuki's hips tightens and he moves to turn him around, gently but firmly. Mostly just so he doesn't have to carry out this whole conversation over Yuki's shoulder.]

You know this is the one thing I can't listen to you on. [Most of the time he's ready enough to do what Yuki wants, or at least trick Yuki into thinking he's doing what he wants by distracting him from the main point. It's just the matter of protecting Yuki from getting involved in anything dangerous that's a stalemate subject, and in this case Momo's determination to protect other people.] I can't just hang back to save my own skin when people are in danger. And you can't fight. Bringing you means I have to keep both of us safe instead of just me, so it's safer for me to go alone. Sometimes that means I take a hit or two.

[Or twenty, considering the condition he came back from the Northern Outpost fight last month in, but that was a special case. He does know a lot of healers he could ask for help, but usually in the wake of those battles there's so many people in need of what he considers actual help that he can't really bring himself to. And he can only close so many of his own wounds with how draining speeding up one's own injury healing can be.]

No, but I am someone well versed in emotions.

"Well versed in emotions" tells you based on a single request that I'm controlling? I hope you don't go around analyzing everybody.

Good evening, Yuki-san. I'm called Bishop. I know your partner, we've been on a couple of quests together. He's a very interesting fellow.

[ Another handsome idol. Their fans must go ga-ga over them. ]

Good evening. Thank you for looking out for Momo. He's one of a kind.

[Yuki goes gaga over Momo too.]

It's no trouble. He's very capable and a quick learner.

[ Though he's not going to mention he taught him how to use a knife. In his defense though it was to protect him. ]

I imagine since you're here, you two would be thinking of practicing being idols here? Or, at least, getting into the music scene at least.

He's very capable. One of the strongest guys I know in every way. It's not like I actually need to worry, probably.

[That second bit is surprising.]

I'd like to, and I think that's the plan. I don't...

...I can't do much other than make music and act, when it comes to work I'm suitable for. So otherwise I'd just be bored and useless.
