I've been thinking about this decision we're left to make about Morgana Drummond. Sheesh, talk about a toughie, right? I mean, why NOT kill Drummond dead? Sounds easy-peasy to me! Dorchacht's Coven is even preparing the pyre and everything. Yay, fire!

[Henry busts out in a raucous laugh.]

You have to admire that initiative. Oh, by the by, you can't resurrect bones without the body stuffs, I guess. Reanimation ONLY. Trust me on that.

So anyway, they say they're gonna seal away her ashes. But I can't help but wonder if there's reeeeally any way to guarantee that she won't be resurrected after we burn her to bones at the stake. Imagine how awesome it'd be, facing off against an UNDEAD Drummond, revived by her necromancer lackeys! Nya ha ha! Guess we'd better hope that pile of ashes doesn't end up in the wrong hands, huh?

Who are you guys gonna side with? Dorchacht's death sentence, or Aefenglom's curious Coven?

But I get it. What can she tell us that Aefenglom's prestigious Coven cant figure out without her? Dreamwalking stuff, sure, but we can do that easy as cake. Who needs that old hag when the Coven could just study us? Buuut I dont know if ANY death in this place is totally permanent, with all these necromancers crawling around like cockroaches.

Even if there were things we could learn from her, we have to consider how much that knowledge is worth.

In this case, she's done a lot of damage that can't be undone without a lot of work. She shouldn't have the opportunity to continue on.

I don't know if sealing them away will be enough. Maybe scatter them into the ocean. Can a necromancer do anything with that?

See? I thought so too! Scatter the ashes across all of Geardagas if they must, it just makesmore sense to me....

I dunno if theres ever a surefire guarantee that a determined witch couldn't, i dunno, reassemble a pile of ashes, even from the depths of the sea. but I think that even if they could, they'd never get a complete resurrection. Like a shambling, mindless copy of Drummond's former self kind of resurrection! Though a determined necromancer could DEFINITELY control her like a puppet.

That's just my hunch, anyway. Not like I do necromancy. I just know a guy, maybe.

You're right, it'd be a useless husk of her if we even tried with just a bit of the ashes. We'd probably have to have to have a complete set to do anything with them.

So we should do what we can to fully destroy and effectively scatter and rid our world of these ashes. Make as big of a mess of them as we can.

I don't know anything about necromancy, though. But that would be my assumption. You don't play cards with an incomplete deck.

Yeah, pretty much. It'd be some kind of villainous quest across the continent to reassemble the dust of her ashes into the real deal, if we REALLY made a mess of it.

But thats the gist of it. Can't revive a whole person without as much of the person as you can, and Ihear even THAT has its risks. I woner if any of the Mirrorbound have died before? It would be KILLER to meet them.

Anyway yep, I know a guy. Maybe more than the one, but I'm not the best at introductions . Say, we all met a few in Dorchacht in Setperil, riiiight?

You're very funny. I can't say if I've met someone who's died while they were here. It might be easier to identify people who died prior to arrival and were revived upon arrival.

I don't need to know who this guy was. Only curious. It just seems like if you know one guy who can do this, you may know others.

People with similar interests tend to... gravitate towards one another, if you understand.

I didn't even think about those people. People who died, then showed up here... I think I wanna meet one and ask them what it was like. Me, I'd like a really bloody, but painless death.... Wonder how other people died?

I'm sure you can find them pretty easily. I personally would prefer something quick.

Interested? Sure. For the sake of education and interest. I mean, who would pass up on education of any sort?

Oh man, that's hilarious. The scholarly pursuit of knowledge is the makings of a mage if I ever heard it. Curiosity killed the cat, and it drives any good mage to ruin eventually.

Anyway Its pretty hard to learn nowadays, since people get pretty skittish in the goblin market if you even MENTION death, undeath, or spooky magic. Cant say you could or couldn't start there... It's the same principle as healing magic, just tweaked in the direction of death. Once you gett he basics down, as long as youre a healer, you can fill in the blanks.

Perhaps in time. Though, I have to say I've never met a cat so curious he died.

Curious. Perhaps I'll just have to go and find a guy so I know a guy.
Although healing is pretty far out of my standard, so it may just be a let's learn about it versus learn how to do it.

Yeah, thats probably for the best. I don't think most people should be learning it if Im being honest with you.

Hmm. If you say so, and I do, I am Bonded to two monsters. I've been Bonded since just after I first arrived. It's the smart thing to do.
