[How much flat teenage sarcasm can a person shove into a statement of gratitude? Sadly for Karin, Ferran is not nearly patriotic enough to salute... like, anybody. He wouldn't be caught dead in the military.

Whether his new Fae nature will allow him to be fully respectful when he meets Lightning is another gamble, so that'll be fun.]
