I'm seeking a permanent bond.

[Another one of those posts, though they don't normally come from someone who looks just like a cat. Mogget has done this before, though little came of it the last time and the person who had been temporarily bonding with him is no longer around.

Mogget shifts in place, his small paws planted together as he sits in front of the camera.]

I'm a witch. Familiars have suited me until now but I would prefer not to risk my magic becoming unstable.

[And that's it really. He doesn't want to explode, thanks.]

Respond at your leisure. I'm not looking for a friend. Think of this as more of a business proposition.

Is there a reason you choose to hide your appearance when making this kind of offer?

( It's then that Aqua switches to video. She doesn't seem surprised that she's speaking with a cat--not when... well... one of her friends is a talking mouse.

I'm sure you've noticed I'm a cat. This isn't a secondary shape.

( For a moment, Aqua can only look in both confusion and mild surprise. )

One of my best friends is a mouse. Speaking to animals isn't something new to me.

( She won't mention that she's come to expect things like this in other worlds. It's really better to stay low-key when it comes to matters relating to the keyblade. )

[This girl, it would seem, is in the minority of people who have encountered talking animals before. It is a little refreshing to not have to explain himself in some way, though he's definitely become used to it over the past few months.]

The number of people who come from worlds where anything that speaks must be human are far more commonplace than anything else, it seems.

I've noticed that, too. It's a little strange -- I've thought with countless worlds out there, there were countless possibilities of worlds completely different from one another, but... that doesn't seem to be the case.

I find it stranger that people are still surprised by things like that, after being transported to a world like this one. Is the fact that I can speak really so shocking?

Sometimes, it's difficult for others to accept something that aren't used too, or... something they don't understand.

You're not incorrect. Something I always found curious, when there are so many things that are still not entirely understood.

[He pauses, then adds.]

It must be terrible to live in such a state of perpetual confusion.

They just need a chance to understand. It's.... something that I've had to learn myself.

( Except... she isn't so sure that she accepts it completely yet. )

If they want to understand, but that's neither here nor there and no real concern of mine.

[He is not, after all, here to educate someone else on how to accept that he is really a cat (and not a turnskin, or a familiar, or a humanoid witch who got stuck that way).]

I don't see what the problem would be.

Bonding with a monster can be emotionally burdening - especially if they go feral.

Mm. There is something else I consider 'emotionally burdening', too. The inevitable self-destruction if I go without a bond.

[His aim here is to not explode, after all.]

Then... in a way, we'll be protecting one another by bonding.

If it comforts you to think of it that way, I have no objections.

[Some people need to find a deeper meaning in the Bonding. Mogget's needs are very simple in this regard.]
