[Another one of those posts, though they don't normally come from someone who looks just like a cat. Mogget has done this before, though little came of it the last time and the person who had been temporarily bonding with him is no longer around.

Mogget shifts in place, his small paws planted together as he sits in front of the camera.]

I'm a witch. Familiars have suited me until now but I would prefer not to risk my magic becoming unstable.

[And that's it really. He doesn't want to explode, thanks.]

Respond at your leisure. I'm not looking for a friend. Think of this as more of a business proposition.

[He replies quite bluntly, and though his expression isn't capable of it his voice gives the impression he would be raising his eyebrow if he could.]

[ Frankly speaking, Reno looks like shit. Cwyld infection marks still healing, but he makes sure to cover that one. But even despite that, he just looks exhausted, and not in his best shape. ]

It isn't often he's surprised by things, but truth be told this isn't an offer that he expected.]

Business, hnn? What would the terms entail, aside from ensuring you don't explode? What expectations would you have from either side of this partnership?

It's very simple. I don't explode, and the person bonded with me doesn't go feral. I have no other expectations.

[But that's an interesting question.]

And I don't have a particular opinion on bears. Should I?

[He isn't so dim as to not see what she's getting at, but vague questions... vague answers...]

So, bare minimum. No monetary or housing assistance? No other expectations beyond health and safety?

[ And for Vex's part, there's nothing vague about that question. Voice switches over to video - not of Vex herself, but of an adult brown bear curled in the corner of what looks to be a closed office area, stacked metal armor resting next to him as he snoozes. ]

If you don't have any need beyond the basics for a bond, I doubt his presence would be a concern then.

What he'll see is a girl with dragon-like features - silver-colored scales covering her cheeks and neck, ice-like wings spreading behind her. When she speaks, he may notice sharp fangs. Still, she speaks softly. )

I apologize. There isn't any reason in particular. But... if you're looking for a bond, it'll be better to meet that person face to face, too.

[She's definitely thinking what you think she's thinking. Not like everyone else hasn't thought it already, though. If there's any irony in her questioning a talking cat, she has yet to notice.]

[He's used to people thinking it. Mogget has been mistaken as everything from a familiar, to a Turnskin, to a witch stuck in a cat shape, to a simple stray cat. It's just as well that no one knows what he really is.]

Treated like what? A friend? I've found it tends to require a certain level of reciprocity.

How do you go about recruiting your friends, then? Differently from your bonds, I take it?
