[Another one of those posts, though they don't normally come from someone who looks just like a cat. Mogget has done this before, though little came of it the last time and the person who had been temporarily bonding with him is no longer around.

Mogget shifts in place, his small paws planted together as he sits in front of the camera.]

I'm a witch. Familiars have suited me until now but I would prefer not to risk my magic becoming unstable.

Respond at your leisure. I'm not looking for a friend. Think of this as more of a business proposition.

How do you go about recruiting your friends, then? Differently from your bonds, I take it?

[There's sarcasm in her voice. Not even cat-shaped witches are immune to her being smarmy with them.]

[The tone he delivers those words in makes it clear that is a completely deliberate choice.]

...Ah. I can't tell whether that is incredibly cat-like of you, or whether it's merely a fitting guise for something else.

Persisting alone like that doesn't sound incredibly interesting, at any rate.

Did you have an offer for me, or did you just want to criticise my boundaries?

Don't suppose you have any use for a vampire, do you? I'm a trained knight, so I can offer protection should you ever find yourself in a tight spot. And a fun-sized bat form, if you happen to like that sort of thing. Alternatively, I make things, if you have a need for something material.

[As she might understand, he's not entirely much 'use' given that he's a cat... and he doesn't intend for this to be any kind of one-sided arrangement, as much as it might benefit him.]

If you're interested in not becoming feral, that's all I need. Anything else would be voluntary, not transactional.

I would say so. I've been encouraged to seek out more witch bonds to better defend myself if need be, so it'd be quite a help for me if you were willing to oblige.

...Though if you ever do need anything along those lines in the future, let me know? I'm always happy to help with either. Protecting or crafting, I mean.

Just what kind of crafting did you have in mind?

I work with leather, metal, cloth, and various other materials. But I'm not sure what a witch cat would need from any of those, to be honest...

[It does get her thinking. Some kind of satchel he can carry on a collar? Oh, but maybe he's not the type to wear collars in the first place...]

I suppose we can always think of something if you have some particular material need that's normally more suited to the bipedal. Or those with thumbs. Doesn't have to be right this second.

[Given that Irhya is actually the first person in his months here to actually suggest helping him like this, he finds himself curious.

Mogget does wear a collar - a red, leather-like affair with a small silver bell and his magical focus point hanging off it in the form of a green tear-drop shaped pendant - but he doesn't have many other belongings besides.]

I'll remember the offer, then. My primary aim here is finding somebody open to a bond.

Ah, right. We did get a bit off-topic, didn't we? It does sound like you're looking for something different out of it than I am... But if you're still open and willing later on, I may very well ask after it again, if that's all right?

[He doesn't sound ruffled. At least she's honest about it, which is more than he expects from most. After a moment, and to sate his own curiosity, rather than end the call there he asks another question of her.]

Just what are you looking for?

I guess... "something long-term" is the most succinct way to put it. Something I might be able to grow something out of, as well as using the bond for practical purposes. But I may have to cycle through a few people to find the right fit, so I'm prepared to test things out and see if my opinion changes.

I'm sure a lot of people want that kind of thing, thinking about it. But if you'd prefer not, may it be to your advantage, then.
