I'm seeking a permanent bond.
[Another one of those posts, though they don't normally come from someone who looks just like a cat. Mogget has done this before, though little came of it the last time and the person who had been temporarily bonding with him is no longer around.
Mogget shifts in place, his small paws planted together as he sits in front of the camera.]
I'm a witch. Familiars have suited me until now but I would prefer not to risk my magic becoming unstable.
[And that's it really. He doesn't want to explode, thanks.]
Respond at your leisure. I'm not looking for a friend. Think of this as more of a business proposition.

[Fortunately, albeit only recently, Mogget has been able to secure himself somewhere permanent to stay. When it comes to money he finds that he doesn't really need it - and besides, where would he keep it?]
Hm. A friend of yours?

Yes. [there's an offscreen scratch of pen on parchment.] I've raised him since he was a cub. Were I a witch, I suppose he could double as my familiar, but since I am not..

[He doesn't seem to be too bothered by this. A lot of people, he's found, see bonding as something far more personal and private than he is advertising and would rather have some kind of relationship with someone they make such a connection with.
Mogget doesn't blame them, but he prefers to keep things simple.]
One potential, when he's in better physical shape. I have no objections to another... or a dragon.

[ There's faint amusement there, before a quill is set down, and turned on the half-elf. Her face has more silver scaling along the cheeks and throat these days, gold slitted eyes sharp and focused, while ridges have slowly begun to rise along her hairline. Feathers protrude at her temples in differing shades of blue, yet the pointed ears are still the ones she was born with. ]
In that case, perhaps a trial bond first? That way, we can both be certain that this suits us before forming a more permanent bond. [a pause, then a hum.] My dragon side's elemental nature is ice-based, which I'm told can make spells of that element stronger for witches. If that's of any interest.

[No, he isn't disappointed. Mogget has never needed anyone to grovel at his feet and more often than not has simply wished to be left alone. Something that landed him in his current predicament, in fact.
He regards her silently for a few moments, then lets out a thoughtful hum. While he had been trying to avoid 'trial'-based bonding, it might be wise in this instance.]
And very well. A trial will suffice. At your leisure - I have no plans.

[ Concession, no sarcasm. She does not know Mogget, after all.
Though at least some passing knowledge of the other might be worth having. Such as: ]
What's your name then? I am Vex'ahlia.
It shouldn't take long to procure a temporary potion. I'm presently at the forge, at the outer city's limits, but I should be done with my work within the hour.

[He knows where the forge is. Though never having had a need to go there, it's the kind of place that someone with a sense of smell like Mogget's can locate easily.]
It would take me around that time to reach the place. You can find me outside when you're done.
Voice; -> Action;
[ And with that, the call ends, Vex turning her attention back to her paperwork. Some motivation to finish up quickly never hurts, after all!
As it is, it does run a little longer than she expects, and she stretches while emerging from the quiet forge, a roll of warm air following her and Trinket out the door before it slams shut behind them.
Her neck cracks, before Vex looks about for her invited guest curiously. ]

When she steps outside she would be able to spot him easily. A pure white cat wearing a red collar sticks out like a sore thumb anywhere in this place, and most of all when he's making of a point of being very visible. He has his eyes closed but his body seems alert, and one of his ears turns in the direction of the door slamming.
His head follows after a moment, bright green eyes looking her way with mild interest.]
