Day 3. So who's growing in their special witch powers?
What about getting themselves bit by stuff, anybody trying that out yet??

[He types, flippantly. He's still... kinda treating everything going on here as a game. Not a joke, at least not anymore, but as a game he's a-rollin' with. Easier to throw up your hands and say "a'ight, a'ight, I'll roll with all of this for now! Looks like it's more good for me than not!" than it is to... think of yourself as "part of" it, what with all that talk back with Miss Nessie 'bout how every human being here has friggin' tapped-or-untapped magical powers.

And seemed to kinda assume that extended to all the folks here. Well, ha-ha, he sure don't like he's got any magical powers!]

Wait, you're trying to turn into a monster?
That sounds dangerous. It could turn you into something worse than a wolf. We don't know how the magic here works yet.

I'm... not sure it works that way.

[Not to say that Clark is an expert in any of this, but he's pretty sure becoming a monster isn't like collecting. At least that seems to be the case.]

When I was looking around, I didn't see anyone that looked like they were turning into a hybrid. And don't some of those, uh, abilities cancel each other out?

Did you say you were a zombie?

[Granted, he does have a point about the magic. They don't know it won't combine that way, but Clark really doesn't want anyone to get hurt testing out this potentially dangerous theory. What if one creature's biology rejects another's? No one should be encouraging the public at large to try it just to find out.

But somehow he thinks pointing that out will fall on deaf ears.]

No, I read it, I'm just trying to understand it. Aren't zombies usually dead? I didn't know they could communicate so... eloquently, that's all.

And we should probably just see how things develop for now. We might have latent powers that haven't shown themselves yet. It'd be wasteful to go around getting bitten if we don't have to.

Right.

[Undead. Of course. He should have seen that one coming.]

You were working with things like this before you came here? Did I get that right? Are you a scientist?

[It would explain the apparent excitement and willingness to experiment with all these new changes, although Clark isn't sure what a scientist would think of magic. He's pretty sure this is in fact magic. But maybe a scientist will have more perspective.

...If he doesn't try to get chomped first.]
