I never understood why they were so afraid of the red skies. I thought they were very pretty.

Yeah, right?? It was pretty - a colorful feast for the eyes! But they got all superstitious about it.

[It made a little more sense for the sailors to be spooked, with all those sayings about red sky warnings. But the landlocked people in the city had no such reason to be worried about the weather.]

It's pretty silly if you ask me. Being afraid of something just because of a superstition. Nothing happened, right?

I didn't see anything, not like they were talking about, all huge and catastrophic. Maybe little things happened, but, little things happen all the time.

They're just troubled by change, I guess!

That's pretty concerning if it's true. You know what they say...

Change is the only constant in the world!

Except for all the times when nothing changes, just to trip us up!

Yeah! That's the way of it all around... Working hard at trying new things is loads better than doing nothing, especially if you want something to happen.
