Consider the Shade - mindlessly only capable of harm and spreading their wicked blight. Unfortunately, they are already past saving when they reach that point; you would be doing both us, as well as the Shade, a service to allow them to pass.

[ "allow them to pass." he means destroy the shit out of it, but considering the open reluctance, he's trying to be somewhat more mindful of his language. ]

Where I'm from...there are Shades too, or at least that's what we call them. They don't sound all that different.
