A friend of mine has apparently lost the use of his legs due to his transformation. His legs have been gong through very painful spams for a while but now they seem to be mostly stuck together, and covered with scales.
I worry about him, so I was wondering if someone had gone through something similar and what solutions they may have found for it.
You have my thanks.
[Spoilers: it's him, he's the 'friend' who's turning into a Naga. His legs are doing the shift from les to. Well. Serpent Tail, and he's not pleased with it.]

Someone suggested a wheelchair, I suppose that's the sensible option if he can find someone to push him around.

That's a good idea, actually. I'm going to get back to you on that. Should I talk to you or your friend?
I still recommend doing something for the pain. I mean, just because we can handle it doesn't mean we should have to.

[Yeah... yeah.]
We didn't really have painkillers back home. We had alcohol, at most, and some beverages using certain plants that made you sleepy but those could get dangerous if you didn't know how to use them. I guess we still have to get used to the idea of painkillers.

[Didn't you just know how bad it has gotten? Tony manages not to just blurt that one out because he's texting, but his typical impulse is to ask a stupid question. He realizes this after a moment and changes tactics.]
The painkillers here are probably similar. At least potions should be. They seem to be made of actual plants and ingredients. Spells might have fewer, uh, side effects? I'm not sure what a magical side effect would be.

I do have a few witches that I trust. I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask, I trust them to tell me if they believe they'd end up doing more harm than good in the end, by trying their spells.
At this rate I think he'd rather just be done with the transformation once and for all.

Yeah, I can see why. But if there are this many people that go through monster changes then there must be a way to help make the transitions easier at least.
We really need monster doctors.
