[ The video comes on and Louis is front and center. He got a grasp on the technology pretty quickly. He's... annoyed, and he's not good at hiding it, either. His tone is just as annoyed. Like. He can't believe he has to go over this. ]

So, since this is the best way to get the message out from what I can tell, and I'm sick of repeating myself, so I'll only say this once.

[ Pause. He has a long pause between each of the words. ]

Monster.

[ He lifts the camera up to get a full view of his head, to get a good shot at every angle. ]

I am just a deer. I arrived here like this.

[ Frown. ]

I didn't pay much attention to the time, honestly. I just woke up with them one morning. Did a number on my pillowcases... And pillows.

I can see how that would happen, if you're not used to them.

Well, horns, antlers... Horns were smaller.

[ Siiiigh. ]

But at least it's similar enough, right? Also means I can't wear pull-over shirts anymore. They just get tangled....

It does take a little bit of...finesse to do it right, but I wear a lot of sweaters. Maybe they're better designed at home with me in mind, though.

Possibly. I suppose I'll have to manage somehow.

[ She laughs. ]

It isn't all that bad, honestly. But it does make life a little tricky, especially with low doorways.

Yeah. I guess being from a world where these things are accommodated, I never noticed. Here it is a little more challenging. My father would have issues with the doorways here. More than I do.

Is he larger, then? If you don't mind my asking.

Compared to me, he's much larger.

[ Part of it isn't just his size, but how Louis perceives him. ]

Broader, and taller, and with much larger antlers.
