My name is Lux, and I have a favor to ask of a few of you.

A number of us will be traveling to Dorchacht to... smooth over some rough patches in our relationship with them. Say what you will about how they treat others—I have my own opinions, and that isn't necessarily something I wish to speak about here. That isn't the point of this. Talks are bound to be tense, and many of us will be going in blind.

I am looking for a few monsters to align with, who won't shy away from gathering information, by any means necessary. In exchange for this, I offer a temporary Bond, during our time there; and protection if things don't turn out as expected. I will do what I can to keep you safe while in Dorchacht.

I am also looking for a few Witches willing to come together to push for equal treatment of Monsters within Dorchacht. Neither city can afford a war; and while I have experience with this sort of situation, there is strength in numbers. We have the resources—and it only makes sense to gather as many in one place before attacking this problem.

This is asking a lot, I know, but I want to be prepared for anything. I doubt I am the only one. I will be leaving in a few days. I would prefer to have these discussions before then, either in person, or here. Thank you.

If this world was any less intriguing, I would be most perturbed. However, my people are in no dire need. I fret not for them in my absence. [they'll do fine, Everett just wanted to do better for them, he was fond of his home... much as he didn't care to go back.]

That's a relief, at least. Although I'm sure that they miss having the world's best explorer and diplomat around to keep things lively.

[ She sounds genuinely cheered, the gentle lilt of laughter in the edges of her voice. ]

I would be happy to work with you while we are in the city, if you'll have me. We can talk more over tea before you decide, if you would like—my treat, of course. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer talking face-to-face.

Yes, I agree to it. A temporary bond should serve us both well, upon this excursion. [Tea is always something he's happy to hear and old-fashioned makes him give a short laugh.]

If you wish to meet me at my cottage, I can send you along the location. I have freshly grown tea plants, just waiting to be brewed. We shall sit for a proper meeting in my garden, if you find the suitable.

[ Her eyes light up at his offer. ]

You grow your own tea leaves?

[ That sounds wonderful? She can hardly wait to see what his garden must look like. ]

I would be delighted, thank you. When would you like to meet? I should be in Aefenglom for a few more days.

That I do! My faun magic has been quite handy in springing up a garden of tea and herbs. I'm still in my learning phase, so it will only grow more impressive. [quite literally! And Everett is a proud man, so he is delighted to show off what he's accomplished so far.]

My cottage is open to you, if you have the time to stop by today. I'll keep the kettle on and the door open. [he'll send her directions over the network, and be there to welcome her when she arrives. It's a pleasant tea time in his garden, to discuss plans and a temporary bond between them. Everett's an aristocratic sort, so Lux is only going to be met with the finest manners... and occasional, groan worthy pun.]
