[Typing is terrible for someone not used to it (and someone not even that great at writing, at that): one attempt has been enough to convince Konoe never to try again if he can help it.
Video, however... is honestly creepy!? How do people get so small, and how can they be sure they'll get out of the watch again? He may be a cat, but he's not stupid!
So he tries for voice, even though he's not used to voice calls, either. He gets really close to the watch and pronounces everything a little slowly, overly clearly.]

[There, he did it. There's an audible sigh, of determination as much as relief, and then the feed ends.

[What more can he say, really? It was a terrible experience all around, but he didn't raise the topic to get sympathy or even understanding. He'd rather not get much overt sympathy at all. But he's not going to deny that it was dreadful.

Don't worry, he won't talk about how the demons violated his body. Probably.]

[ Maybe some things are easier over a watch than face to face, but given the choice, Yako knows what she prefers. Still, she'll challenge him on that last assertion just a little. ]

Nothing just in the past. All our experiences, even the ones that caused us pain ... they shape who we are. I think talking about it helps remind you how much you've grown.

[ That being said, she can't help but try to lighten the serious tone of the conversation, even if it's just with a bit of teasing. ]

[Hmm... Maybe she has a point, but at the same time, he'd rather leave the past behind, without ignoring how he's grown from it as such. After all, the past really can't be changed. Good or bad, it is what it is. He's not sure he likes that, but he'd rather ignore the past than relive it - even the good parts.]

Okay, no, he's kidding. Partly kidding. His only real self-esteem issues concern his tail, but he'd still never blow his own horn like this if he was serious about it.]
