[Typing is terrible for someone not used to it (and someone not even that great at writing, at that): one attempt has been enough to convince Konoe never to try again if he can help it.
Video, however... is honestly creepy!? How do people get so small, and how can they be sure they'll get out of the watch again? He may be a cat, but he's not stupid!
So he tries for voice, even though he's not used to voice calls, either. He gets really close to the watch and pronounces everything a little slowly, overly clearly.]

I don't know. You'd have to check with the witches or whatever, right? I just got here like the rest of you so I wouldn't know. But I know that's one way I'd use it if I could figure magic or whatever.

Not like you what? But yeah, can't hurt to ask. Worst we'll get is they don't know or won't or can't teach us or whatever for some reason, is all. We wouldn't be any worse off before asking.

I don't think relying on the Coven more than we're doing already is smart, is all. We still can't be sure they're not involved in bringing us here.

No, I....I get it. I don't necessarily like relying on anyone else either. But if we don't ask, we won't know. And if they don't know, we can try look into figuring things ourselves somehow.

[He's not too fussed housing wise. Really, he wouldn't mind camping or whatever, if he had to, but. He can't really say no to housing though, it is still preferable to have a roof over his head and all.]

[If only Konoe was more of a book fiend, he could hunt down some information himself. As it is... just the thought of sitting around reading for a long period of time makes him fidgety. Not that there's anything wrong with reading! But sticking in one place like that - and in public! - makes him feel like a target.

He'll just figure it out, himself. As long as he can't trust the Coven, he should definitely figure it out himself, regardless.]

... I'll just try something, myself. [Now he's just being pointlessly stubborn. But what else is new?] Whatever the Coven knows or doesn't know, the magic is our own, anyway. Finding our own way will be better.

I'm just not as sure how much we can manage ourselves when we're still learning about this place and all.

[It's not home. And it definitely has no connection to the Sohma. No Curse. Not anymore. So all of this is such new territory, short of the Monster transformation that's happening, gradually. Kyo is still figuring a lot of this out.]

Not that we can't. Do stuff ourselves, I just figure, you know, at least asking, that is quicker.
