Uh, I suppose anyone can weigh in, but especially people who have gone though bonding with someone else:
What was the ceremony like? Did you do anything special for the person you were bonding with? If you didn’t, why not?

Something special happened after my first bond, but to go into detail about it would be inappropriate!
I can give advice on what you can do after your bond, though, if you'd like!

[ Thank the stars he’s been practicing magic (a little). He better make sure he learned what he needs to do well and not mess it up. Also Han smirks just slightly when he reads the inappropriate comment. ]
Hit me, pal. I’ll take all the advice I can get.

Yes, so my first two bonds had to be performed in front of a witch. [He's a monster. Something he's finally come to terms with, but would still rather not have all of the changes take effect so soon after one another.]
Well, first of all, this is a bond based off of romance, right? The meaning and reason behind the bond make all the difference.

Uh, yeah. I’ve ... [ His voice trails off prompting him to need to start again. ]
We had a thing when we were teenagers and have known each other since we were kids.

This loved one of yours is a vampire.
[He softly sighs at that, since he still misses his favorite food.]

[ He’s actually not trying to be a smarmy. Honestly, trying to decide what a nice romantic meal for them should be just isn’t his strong suit. ]

Yes! You should avoid that at all costs. What about pasta, then? I'm sure there's a very nice Italian restaurant around.

[ It’s not like Han to obsess over little details, but then, on a typical day he’s not getting magically bonded to someone. ]

[But he's still concerned it may never be used.]

Text; Private
It felt like a wedding and afterwards, I realized I could hide nothing from them. I am not used to that kind of intimacy.

The bonds are unusual. Which is putting it kindly. They will have some power over you and you will them. It's about finding balance and trust.
[She's never been good at trusting anyone.]
What exactly are you worried about?

[He has no idea how much that question hits her... thank goodness their talking through texts.]
I do not know anyone here from my world. Which, for me, is probably a good thing.

[ He could definitely empathize with wanting to leave certain aspects of his life in the rear-view. ]

I wouldn't have answered if I didn't want too.
But my life has always been a little complicated.

Is it weird that I feel sorry for anybody that has it too easy? And if you find yourself wanting to talk, I’m a good listener.
no subject
I can't imagine an easy life but I think it'd be very boring.

You weren’t rich back home, were you?

I had nothing that was mine but I worked for a very wealthy family. They bought me nice things and anything I might need.

You could say that I was property in a way though Thomas never treated me like that but others in the family had.

Did having one guy being nice make up for the rest of them?

I was protected in a way and I know that it won't last for much longer but I'm happy with the time I had. It's better than how my life was before that.
