What was the ceremony like? Did you do anything special for the person you were bonding with? If you didn’t, why not?

No. I make a point not to regret my choices. Even if it ends poorly, it was still my choice.

The bonds are unusual. Which is putting it kindly. They will have some power over you and you will them. It's about finding balance and trust.

I think it would be nice to mark the occasion. It is special and for each pair its different. Doing something will help define what that relationship means.

I had nothing that was mine but I worked for a very wealthy family. They bought me nice things and anything I might need.

You could say that I was property in a way though Thomas never treated me like that but others in the family had.

Did having one guy being nice make up for the rest of them?

It isn't entirely unpleasant.

I was protected in a way and I know that it won't last for much longer but I'm happy with the time I had. It's better than how my life was before that.
