Uh, I suppose anyone can weigh in, but especially people who have gone though bonding with someone else:

What was the ceremony like? Did you do anything special for the person you were bonding with? If you didn’t, why not?

You could say that I was property in a way though Thomas never treated me like that but others in the family had.

It isn't entirely unpleasant.

I was protected in a way and I know that it won't last for much longer but I'm happy with the time I had. It's better than how my life was before that.
