[ The wonderful denizens of Aefenglom are treated to Iramaat's dulcet tones - although they're pitched down into something almost like a pout or even despair. ]
This is unacceptable, it really is. [ There's a long-suffering sigh and then she continues. ]
Pulling me across time and space and one thing, but this? Is another. They've changed my ears! My beautiful, beautiful ears...
[ Sounds like someone got their first bit of change since their arrival. And she decides to prove that am oment later with a sepia-toned picture of herself. Her long, pointy elf-ears have been replaced with a pair of ears that more closely resemble those of a deer (and they seem to have shifted slightly up the sides of her head). They've even got that dusting of fur, although it's hard to tell what color it all is. Her expression is incredibly morose and not at all happy. Maybe even a bit overwrought. ]
At least tell me I'm not the only one...? [ Well, she half knows that, but she wants to confirm it. ]

[He won't.]

[ Indignant huff. ]
no subject
[He's being deliberately obtuse.]
I still don't see it.
no subject
[ It's the worst possible thing that could've happened.
Except not really, she's mostly fishing for attention. ]
Well, maybe they changed your eyes or something.
no subject
[There's no self-doubt in his tone. He's not falling for that.]
I guess that means you're really a monster, huh? That's what they're saying, right? I could've told you were a monster even before you got fat ears.
no subject
[ Like she's correcting a child. ]
no subject
[Indignantly. Challenging her authority. It's so much easier to sass over the pocketwatch.]
no subject
Oh, do you like them? I've always thought they were quite fetching, myself.
no subject
[He just remembers they're there.]
So, having your ears supposedly messed with is the dealbreaker here, huh?
no subject
[ Look, she has a certain sense of vanity to uphold. ]
I'll soldier on, of course, but it wounds me to the quick!

[Those are the same thing??? Dylas is as Rude as ever.]

It is an inconvenience. I realize you've probably been stuck with these all your life, but some of us enjoy a certain level of aesthetics.
[ Honestly, she'll get over it pretty quick. ]
no subject
[As in, 'I've probably had ears like this my whole life,' which isn't really a statement most people would make. Blame the memory loss.]
And your aesthetic doesn't involve ear fur. That's pretty precise.

[She doesn't look like some old hag.]
no subject
[ There's a flutter of laughter from her end. ]
Whether you believe it or not, I am that old. We Fair Folk don't age.
no subject
[Hold it.]
Were you making fun of me just now?
no subject
[ Wow, she sure sounds innocent. ]
no subject
[Or how it sounded, rather.]
I can do all sorts of things.
no subject
[ Still blisteringly cheerful. ]
no subject
[WHY IS SHE LIKE THIS]
no subject
Please, tell me what you're good at! I'd love to hear about them!
[ Because. ]
no subject
[Wait. What else is he good at? He can't remember them now that he's on the spot?]
And other things! But I don't have to tell you!
no subject
[ Wow, this got way more entertaining for her all of a sudden. ]
