This storm is miserable. [ and that's that on that. ] But once it clears, expect my wonderful band of artistic misfits and I to be on your doorstep. We'll be caroling — with flair.

In the meantime, a question:

Is there someone you miss from home?

Expect an honest review. ( dry. )

Carolers aren't really a thing, at home. Where I spend Christmases, anyway, we're an hour or so away from neighbours, but it's not quiet in December because starting...now, I guess, everyone starts flying in and 'helping' with all of the parties which usually means getting in the way of the people actually coordinating them and arguing, and drinking, and asking everyone if they remember the thing, the thing that happened last year or the year before or ten years ago, and regardless of the answer regaling everyone with it in excruciating and debatable detail.

He loves it. Every year except one for as long as I can remember. And everyone has guest rooms but on Christmas eve everyone is in his room, and he'll play the piano and take requests and we never sing Christmas songs, actually. I think I realised he actually does age when he had to get our man to come and help him move my uncle after he'd fallen asleep on the floor, last year.

( she misses her father extremely. )
