This storm is miserable. [ and that's that on that. ] But once it clears, expect my wonderful band of artistic misfits and I to be on your doorstep. We'll be caroling — with flair.
In the meantime, a question:
Is there someone you miss from home?

Oh wow! I can't wait to hear your caroling Mozart!
As for missing people, I'd say I miss my sister and my other classmates. What about you?

[ at least he seems in good spirits. ]
You have a sister. [ he had one of those, once. the season seems to have afflicted him in a different sort of way. ] And? You know I must ask — is she just as musically gifted as you are?
[ as for him ... he'll wait until he has room to drop the "master" word. ]

[A lie, but he isn't going to go into it]
Older sister, yeah! And I'd say she is, though she's more a pianist than a violinist.

I guess I really miss my g-girlfriend. I wish I could tell her where I am, at least!

No. They are fulfilling our duty back home. I don't want to see them here.
[ What he misses is Tierra, all of it. The logic and rules he knew.
But he knows it's impossible for him to simply return there, so he won't miss it. He will look ahead to what he can do here, as he always has. ]

Wanting to return home to them counts as missing them, I'd wager.

I have to say, I'd be interested in experiencing the carols.
And, there's people I miss from home. Just a few friends of mine. I don't know if I want them to show up, though. They're troublemakers.

You know, I think they'd fit right in, then.

[She misses Master. And d’Eon. And Sanson but Amadeus probably does not want to hear about this]
no subject
Under normal circumstances, I'd say yes. [ of course he would. ] But, well, why not? It's the time and place for miracles, after all.
[ he can handle hearing sanson's name if that's marie's truth. ]

Carolers aren't really a thing, at home. Where I spend Christmases, anyway, we're an hour or so away from neighbours, but it's not quiet in December because starting...now, I guess, everyone starts flying in and 'helping' with all of the parties which usually means getting in the way of the people actually coordinating them and arguing, and drinking, and asking everyone if they remember the thing, the thing that happened last year or the year before or ten years ago, and regardless of the answer regaling everyone with it in excruciating and debatable detail.
He loves it. Every year except one for as long as I can remember. And everyone has guest rooms but on Christmas eve everyone is in his room, and he'll play the piano and take requests and we never sing Christmas songs, actually. I think I realised he actually does age when he had to get our man to come and help him move my uncle after he'd fallen asleep on the floor, last year.
( she misses her father extremely. )

I'm sure they miss you just as well. Or perhaps they're suspended in time, waiting for you.
