This storm is miserable. [ and that's that on that. ] But once it clears, expect my wonderful band of artistic misfits and I to be on your doorstep. We'll be caroling — with flair.

In the meantime, a question:

Is there someone you miss from home?

[It is always easier to be more rude. Shifting to polite after being rude... usually doesn't work.]

"Chill" seems a bit unfair. I'm used to chill, rain, and bad weather during the winter. What I'm not used to is the following: 1) Snow 2) Ice and 3) Ice followed by or in combination with snow (sleet).

The title is familiar, but I can't place it. I would probably know the tune, though.

I guess in hindsight it was rude of me to assume your group was going to sing strictly carols from Earth. And I'm a bit of an odd case; I have a background in music and it's very, very, VERY difficult to not have at least a peripheral knowledge of hymns and carols.

After listening (is that an illusion spell?) I think I do know it. My grandmother used to sing it; it was one of her favorites of the advent sequence in the Liturgy of the Hours. It came, a floweret bright, amid the cold of winter / When half spent was the night. Or something like that.

It can get muggy in the summer, but not as horrible as you might think. Late July and August can run hot, but summers in Napoli are short.
