hi everyone! （⌒▽⌒ゞ I'm Minako Arisato and I just woke up from a three week nap in the infirmary...it seems like I missed a lot of things ( ⚆ _ ⚆ ) so I put this message together to try and get caught up and meet new people! sorry that it's so long!

I'm looking for someone to live with. it looks like a lot of people have already partnered up, but if you have space for me and my puppy, I'd really appreciate it (´•ω•`๑) he's a very good, well-behaved dog, and I'm a very good cook, if that helps make the decision

[ PUPPY PLAYDATES ]
speaking of dogs, how many other people have pets from their home worlds here? Koromaru is a shiba inu and needs a lot of exercise, but he gets bored with just me after a while. I was hoping we could get a gathering of animals to play together sometime soon (๑>ᴗ<๑)

[ SEEKING MEDICAL ADVICE ]
since coming here I've been feeling exhausted, like really really really REALLY exhausted. the people in the infirmary couldn't help me figure out why...probably because it's a problem that came from my home world. I really hate being so tired all the time, it's not me at all (๑-﹏-๑) does anyone have a suggestion for how to energize myself again? aside from sleeping or drinking a lot of coffee, I mean

[ QUESTS AND MAKING LUNCHBOXES ]
I really want to help with quests, so I'll probably try and do some of the easier ones. (if anyone needs help with one, just say the word and I'm there!) but for the people who are going on the dangerous ones, who might be gone longer, I had the idea of making lunchboxes for them. so they don't have to worry about they're going to eat when they're so far away from most civilization. would anyone be interested in getting those lunchboxes? or making them with me? I don't know if my new witch powers include potion brewing but I want to look into that too, so we can make adventuring starter kits for everyone who's heading into the Wilde. basically, if you're interested in cooking or eating, tell me what you think of this idea??

[Blood. Er-] Hm, a variety of things. Usually a variety of breads, cheeses and fruits. Beef, pork, chicken, though we were close enough to the fishing hamlet to have good fish at times, as well.

okay, good to know! but how did you eat them? sandwiches? soups? elaborate four course meals? this is important research for my future lunchboxes ヾ(・ω・*)ノ

not really. I guess you could say it's just something that was going to inevitably happen, sped up?

I don't expect you can pack into a small lunch the amount of food I am used to eating. Either at the castle or at the hall of Byrgenwerth. But I am also used to the way the food is on the Hunt, so something simple is just as well.

Hm. I admit some curiosity, but I know where that gets one, so I won't ask.

back at home we had a motto that said "simple is best" so just you wait, you're going to be tasting the most delicious simple food you've ever had before!!

...Japanese people are also known for going over the top, so you can expect that too ＼(・ω・)/

and thank you for that. eventually I'll have to confront the issue head on if my condition gets worse, but for now it's manageable, so I'll try to stay optimistic

You seem enthusiastic about this. I'll look forward to it. It doesn't need to be "over the top", though. Especially if you have much to make.

That we could all be so enthusiastic. I knew a few idealists in my day. I can only hope they made things better. [Which is not... actually... sarcasm. Her life's just been a lot of negativity, okay.

if I'm not enthusiastic then I'd feel even less like myself, so doing all this is partly to keep my spirits up. but also to spread positive energy to others, too!

oh, I hope they did too. it's not easy leaving something as important as an entire world in the hands of someone else. I had to do that too, but I trust my friends, so I think they'll be alright

Hm, maybe that could be useful for the people here. Admittedly, I don't think anyone has been in entirely foul straits since getting here, but many people are confused and a bit upset. Understandably so.

Hm. I wouldn't say an entire world, but who knows what toll the Great Ones decided to exact.

yeah, we're lucky that Miss Nessie and Mhairi were here to help us when we got here. I hope that all of us off-worlders can get organized enough that we can depend on each other if and when things get more confusing and upsetting

As for the Great Ones... no. They're so far beyond what humans are, though. It's enviable.

oh of course not. the fact that they want us to help them get rid of the cwyld while we're waiting for them to figure it out is pretty obvious as it is, right?

Not humans, either. They're something far beyond the scope of a normal human being. Oedon, for instance, has no form any longer, though you can hear his voice. Ebrietas, left-behind Great One, has a single long body, and great, thorned wings at her back. And Kos and her orphan... great sea-beasts. Or Kos was. Her orphan was just... an odd infant.

Then you knew of a Great One, too? Or something like it... but you probably don't know Yharnam and what it is. Or Byrgenwerth and their works with the Great Ones.

We studied them, in college. The ones who ascended... and the ones who were left behind, in hopes of one day becoming like them.
