[The voice that echoes through the device is sweet and feminine. The topic of her call is the fresh start that has been forced onto her. It should be a good thing, she has a chance to live a new life here, but Justine still isn't sure how she feels about this world, the parliament or the Coven.]

Hello. I have met some of you but I know that there are many of you who I have yet to come across. My name is Justine. I am not a fighter, like most of the people brought here, but I hope to sell the skills I do have. I was a caretaker in my previous life. I can cook, clean and fix minor tears in fabric.

I can also crotchet and I'd be happy to take commissions to those who wish to get a head start on winter. [Ignore the fact that it's spring.]

If money isn't an option, I would also be interesting in trading. I would like to learn to fight but if nothing else we can come to some sort of arrangement. I am a witch and once I perfect my potion making, I hope to sell those as well.

Thanks for this. I'm Yang. I've got experience with hand-to-hand combat if that's what you're looking to learn.

[She might not be any good at it but she won't know until she tries. As it is, Justine is learning a lot that she'd never thought she'd be good at.]

Why don't we see how one lesson goes and go from there? [It's an easy compromise since this is the first time they've spoken.] What is it that you would like from me in return?

Yeah, sounds good. My offer might sound kind of weird since it seems like witches are more spell-based, but you'll never know when you might need it.

[ and she's no good at any of this magic stuff just yet. ]

All I need are a few repairs on my clothes. Nothing too big. Sounds good?

It isn't so weird. [The smile is audible in Justine's voice.] I don't want to rely on only one form of fighting. I might be a witch and human in every other respect but I think it's good to know many different skills.

[She also loves being under estimated.]

I can do that. When would you like to meet and where? I can offer my home to take a look at your clothes but that might not be a good place for a lesson. [She does have a yard.]

And...how about we take care of stitching first, then we can walk somewhere nearby to do some training?

I think that might be best. Once I take a look at the tears I can let you know how long repairs might take. Some I might be able to finish that day, if you don't mind waiting for a little bit. [Justine rather do it right so that the fabric is then harder to tear.]
