[The voice that echoes through the device is sweet and feminine. The topic of her call is the fresh start that has been forced onto her. It should be a good thing, she has a chance to live a new life here, but Justine still isn't sure how she feels about this world, the parliament or the Coven.]

Hello. I have met some of you but I know that there are many of you who I have yet to come across. My name is Justine. I am not a fighter, like most of the people brought here, but I hope to sell the skills I do have. I was a caretaker in my previous life. I can cook, clean and fix minor tears in fabric.

I can also crotchet and I'd be happy to take commissions to those who wish to get a head start on winter. [Ignore the fact that it's spring.]

If money isn't an option, I would also be interesting in trading. I would like to learn to fight but if nothing else we can come to some sort of arrangement. I am a witch and once I perfect my potion making, I hope to sell those as well.

[Justine's voice is light, warm and gently teasing.]

I was working for a rich family and that wasn't anything like this.

[loadme]

[Monika laughs, though for multiple reasons. She just lets the joke pass on by.]

I wasn't even doing any of that. Between classes, exams, and my club, I just didn't have the time for even part-time work.

[Justine sighs softly.]

I guess I should have mentioned that I never finished school.

I stumbled across this job by chance after I had dropped out [She'd run away.] -and that's where I've been working for the last five or so years.

[She pauses and then asks in her usual sweet voice.]

What sort of clubs were you in?

[loadme]

I started out in the debate club, but I didn't really like it. There was too much infighting, and I got tired of it.

So I just made my own club out of something that I really loved.

[There's a pause. A longer one than you'd expect given the innocent topic.]

A... literature club!

[ishisstrength]

[Justine's smile widens slightly and the excitement can be heard in her voice.]

I love books. If that's what you're referring too.

[loadme]

The club had a more general focus, but books were definitely included. And we all had our particular interests. One of my members was really into comics, while another one liked books with more... substance, I guess you could say.

I recently introduced poetry as an activity, and we all started writing and sharing poems with each other.

[ishisstrength]

That sounds like fun.

Maybe you should start a club like that here. I'm sure that there are a few people who would be interested. Myself included. It would also give us all a chance to share whatever we find while we're here.

Maybe!

I'm still getting settled and trying to learn more about this place, and magic. So I think... I might consider it after I'm a better spot.

That might be a good idea.

[Getting settled is an important step one.]

I'm sorry. I've been here for awhile. I forgot that it isn't the case for everyone. Is there anything you need to get settled? Maybe I can help.

You don't have to apologize! It's really no problem at all.

But as for getting settled... I think decorating my room could be a good first step! I think it's important to make it feel as cozy and inviting as possible.

Especially if I'm going to live here for a while!

Ah, but it'd be nicer if things around here were a little more... modern.

Not that there's anything wrong with how it is now!
