Hello. I have met some of you but I know that there are many of you who I have yet to come across. My name is Justine. I am not a fighter, like most of the people brought here, but I hope to sell the skills I do have. I was a caretaker in my previous life. I can cook, clean and fix minor tears in fabric.

I can also crotchet and I'd be happy to take commissions to those who wish to get a head start on winter. [Ignore the fact that it's spring.]

If money isn't an option, I would also be interesting in trading. I would like to learn to fight but if nothing else we can come to some sort of arrangement. I am a witch and once I perfect my potion making, I hope to sell those as well.

What kind of potions?

I'm still deciding. Strength potions or perhaps escape potions that turn someone into the wind for a short period of time.

Is there anything that you would like?

Strength would be good. Healing. Being able to see better in the dark. Waterbreathing.

[ beat. ]

For a little bit, yes. It should be easy enough.

[From what she's read at least.]

[There is the light echo of paper scraping against paper as Justine begins to gather her things to write down the list of new potion ideas. She's going to work with Harry on it but knowing the demand is a good start.]

That sounds... kind of horrifying and really cool, all at the same time.

[ What if you didn't reform? What if you didn't reform properly? What if someone breathed you in? ]

Ones that work on animals, too.

It's a little disorienting but it's perfectly safe.

[It's a combination of a wind spell and a transmutation spell but Justine has been able to figure out how to make it with Harry's help. It's something that he's used at least once before.]

Yes. As long as it can drink the potion.

He just needs to drink it.

I think dogs lap up water? You might have to pour it down his throat for its affects to work all the way. [It will require testing.] We can possibly make a pill for a dog...

I'll ask my roommate about that.

He's a good boy; I could do that. Or a shot.

[ Not all dogs would be okay with any of these options, but- those dogs aren't Dogmeat. ]

Thanks. Your roommate good with dogs and potions, then?

He is. He was a wizard back home, I know he's made positions before and before arriving here I believe he had a dog.

It was a very large creature named Mouse.

[Justine's only heard of Harry's dog, she doesn't know Mouse personally but Thomas and Inar have both spoken about him.]

[ She laughs. ]

Well, mine's Dogmeat, so- great name givers all around.

I like it.

[It's a good name.]

You should bring him by the house sometime. I'm sure Harry would be excited to meet him and I know I would. Then maybe we can try the best ways for him to ingest an escape potion.

I can do that. Especially if it might help him in the future.

[A few seconds later, Lex will see a massage with Justine's address listed for her with an easy set of directions through Haven.]
